Congressman Joe Pitts, a republican from Pennsylvania recently told a constituent that former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and former Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat, should try to to restart a peace process that has collapsed
Arafat has been deceased since 2004 while Sharon has been in a coma for over 5 years now.
With the global war against terrorism, it is now incumbent on Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Yasir Arafat to clamp down on Palestinian extremists that have perpetuated violence and to restart a peace process that has collapsed, Pitts wrote to the father of Ian Rhodewalt in a letter dated April 20th, 2012.
Rhodewalt is a writer for Mondoweiss, which covers Middle East affairs as well as Israeli-Palestinian related issues.
Apparently, my congressman believes that the solution for peace in the Middle East will be reached by encouraging negotiations between a vegetable and a dead man, Rhodewalt wrote earlier this week.
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

Read the headline, knew it was Sheila Jackson Lee. Oh well.
Arafat’s not dead enough. They should dig him up and put a few rounds in him.
Hopefully the AIDS is still gnawing on his remains.
Reminds me of the literary agent that thought Barack Obama was born in Kenya.
Adm. Willard: We don’t ...anticipate ...that.
AH buleave it’s incumban on thu JEWs an the MUSLIMS to wok thangs out in a Christian manner!
(Apologies to the movie, whatever it was.)
Seriously. Take this guy out back and beat him to a pulp with baseball bats.
We do not need this kind of stupidity associated with the Republican brand.
Congressman Joe Pitts — poster boy for term limits.
I meant that more tongue-in-cheek.
This where we say, “bless his soul” and move quietly on.
That quote is from the movie, “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.” It was said by Charles Durning, who was the Governor of Texas in the movie.
Methinks it’s time for Congressman Pitts to have a chat with his neurologist.
5 YEARS IN A COMA? THAT’S STAMINA!
