STOCKHOLM, N.Y. (AP) -- Authorities say a northern New York man had his friend shoot him in the leg with a rifle because he wanted to know what it feels like to be shot.

Let us drill down on this one. A 22 cal. GSW to the muscle does not "feel" the same as being gut shot, or shot through the chest, or shot in the knee joint with a 44 Magnum or a 270 cal deer rifle. The question itself seems to have no spedific answer because the location of the GSW, the velocity of the projectile, the grain of the bullet all dictate a different outcome....ergo the question does not have any other answer, except that it hurts.
The fact that I am writing this much, I fear, may put me in the same league with these two cretins....but I could not resist...I had to pull the trigger on these comments.
