It has become clear for some time that there is no limit to which a leftist will go in there attempt to control mankind from the cradle to the grave. Even the fear of voter backlash in an election year does not seem to slow them down any longer. Why else would Obama come out of the closet in full support of same sex marriage, at the same time that California Democrats are attempting to criminalize a parent's influence upon their child's sexual orientation. Passing through the California Senate Judiciary committee by a vote of 3-1, SB 1172 is on its way to the full Senate for consideration. If passed into law, it won't be long before therapists, psychologists, counselors and parents could be convicted of crimes against the state if they ever attempt to change a child's sexual orientation. Sponsored by State Senator Ted W. Lieu (D) Senate Bill 1172 (pdf file) discourages "sexual orientation change efforts" of adults and essentially makes it illegal to change the sexual orientation of minors.

This was posted over the weekend, but it needs to be posted again so all are aware of it. Especially those who live in Ca. We need to make sure it never sees the light of day.

Likely when the Californication legislature passes it, the best way to deal with the problem is to establish centers just across the border in Arizona, likely in Yuma or Kingman, where such youth can get therapy.

The parents just announce a vacation, and enroll their children in these centers so that they are out of the authority of the CA government. They finish their schooling in more traditional, “non-homocentric” schools.

This comes under the heading of “turnabout is fair play” for those organizations that take children out of state to get them abortions without their parents knowledge.

Of course, the California homosexual community will be livid about this when they discover it, and will likely start a propaganda campaign in the schools that if student “think they might be gay”, they should approach the homosexuals first, so that they can be taken out of their parents custody and groomed for the “lifestyle”.

Well if parents cannot influence their children then certainly the law must prevent public schools from presenting the falsehood that SSAD (Same Sex Attraction Disorder) is normal. Right?

No more SSAD themed TV shows. Right?
No more SSAD pride parades. Right?

What strikes me is that this kind of “issue” is what is getting attention by the “Caliban”, aka the single party legislature.

They should be discussing bills on how to shrink the government footprint, attract small business, build new roads (not rural trains to nowhere).

Instead we get the “agenda” of a vocal minority.

Yes, that will be the next step, especially if Pelosi can ever regain the House and the Democrats retain the Senate, while Obama gets re-elected.

We need to get the word out and fight this, and the law that CA schools much teach homosexualization history lessons, SB-48, that went into effect January 1, 2012.

It is evident by its current tax and social policies that CA basically wants to exile all social conservatives, small businessess, and entrepreneurs. Of course, the rest of the union will gladly accept these moral and productive citizens.
By these means, the Democrats will no longer face political opposition and their goal of a one party state will have been acheived. Although the elimination of political opposition will certainly cement the Democrats grip on power, there will no longer be anyone left to tax or vilify. The next phase will be very interesting. After seizing total control of the state will they begin to eat their own? Robespierre will make his return?

What is really sad, is I have not heard a word about this from any of the major conservative voice on the radio, or in print.

This is an election year and the Democrats are doing this. Why no outcry from the right?

Yep, just read the official pdf of the CA bill SB1172 at the link and yes it does:

1) Takes away the parent's ability to authorize (this type of psychotherapy) treatment of their own minor children.

2) Specifically defines sexual orientation as: sexual or romantic 'desires', 'attractions', or 'conduct' of a person towards the ‘same’ sex.

That last term ‘conduct’ is key in understanding the intellectual debate.

In my 63 years of life, I never dreamed that I would find myself watching my country being eviscerated from within.

You would think that more Californians like me would be outspoken in public about what is happening in this state, but I am a rarity.

My wife is always worried I will get in a fight because of my outspoken type of personality. I am constantly bringing up the way the Democrats are destroying this state and the country when we are shopping and I am at the register.

I used to get scowls and every now and then a good debate with a liberal would begin. lately though the leftists are silent, and i get a lot of approval looking eyes and comments from people. Americans are fed up, and many in Ca are also fed up. They just are not as outspoken as I am.

This type of radical leftist evil is never or rarely ever put forward by the LATimes, the SF Chronicle unless it appears as beneficial to the absurd, the non-producers, the oddities that make up the Dem coalition not only in Ca. but in every state. The love of the Dems for all these groups who seem to be in the majority but in reality are in the minority nation-wide, never fazes Dems as they push for more anti-liberty, anti-freedom , anti-American ideas.
