Gallup is out with a new poll suggesting a whopping 40 percent of Americans say President Obama's newly public support of gay marriage will affect their votes.
Of those, 26 percent say it will make them less likely to vote for Obama, while 13 percent say it will make them more likely to vote for him.
The critical number in the poll, though is for independents - 23 percent of whom said the gay marriage support makes it less likely they will vote for Obama.
The survey is the first since the president publicly endorsed gay marriage on Wednesday with unknown political fallout.
Gallup analyst Jeffrey Jones said that at first blush, it would appear the declaration is a "net minus" for Obama, although that could change....

This is how conversations will now go:
“You are voting for Obama?
Gee, I didn’t know you were gay?”
or some such variation of the form.
it must be very hard to explain voting for Obama now.

Barry should have waited until after the election to evolve. My guess is that his "evolution" on this issue has now completely stopped, and will never be revisited again.
Place your bets.

Because the largely-gay U.S. Media is now FIRMLY behind him.
I think 0bama likes that idea. What you said! He has fond memories of his time with his boy friends in Pack-istan.

Barry supports Anus Sex. Nothing new there. GOD forbade it and Barry embraces it. Therefore Barry is against GOD.
Comprehension 101.

Doesn’t matter. The poll is trash. Not likely voters, not registered voters even. It is a “random sample” of “adults.”

That 13% figure seems pretty high.I mean...how many people *honestly* believed that Osama wasn't always completely in favor of homosexual “marriage” regardless of what public proclamations he might have made? All we need to do to prevail in November is take the states that W took in 2000.Florida,North Carolina,Virginia and Indiana, for example, are basically conservative states which will pay close attention to Osama’s announcement.

IMHO, none of this Obama flim/flam scam, his Hollywood farce, his “evolution” about gay marriage, all his raising money, means a darn thing of any substance. What really matters in the real world, folks is the amount of GOP primary voters that turned out to vote for Scott Walker in Wisconsin, The massive vote against gay marriages in North Carolina and anti-Obama “felon” vote in West Virginia. End of story!!!

If Mr. Romney would make a written promise to appoint conservative justices and judges, to repeal ObamaCare and to protect the unborn and 2nd Amendment Id raise a million dollars for him. Are you reading this, Team Romney?

The blame game will be played viciously if he loses. The Gaystapo will be split, one faction saying that he lost because of this homo-stance, showing how "bigoted" this country still is and needs powerful judicial imposition to right "wrongs;" and another that will claim that it had nothing to do with endorsing homo "marriage," that it was just the economy, something they now say he is mending.
Blacks and white liberals will chalk it up to the "deeply-rooted racism" inherent in this country, and will then riot and assault conservatives in public with expected impunity.
Occuparasites will say that he lost because he was too conservative (yes, they are that loony.)

No it’s not good news for BAM.
And it means our voters don’t have a clue that Romney’s actions in support of Gay Vote don’t match his rhetoric.
Romney can read polls better than Obama, but Romney is no different.
