Website to help Sanford shooter with legal defense not functioning
The website that George Zimmerman set up to help raise money for his legal defense has been disabled.
The website www.therealgeorgezimmerman was no longer functioning as of Tuesday.
It was created almost two weeks ago by Zimmerman's family members to thank his supporters and also to receive donations from anyone who wanted to help with his legal defense.
Would be interesting to find out on what site he’s using.
Disabled?
Does that mean censored? Or attacked?
Dunno, maybe DOS??? Still would be interesting to find out what site it’s on.
This is the explanation about it. The fox link which is on theconservativetreehouse quotes O’Mara regarding the legal fund.
IIRC his lawyer said GZ was not using any type of social media and had shut the web site down. He is out of the State of Fla and does not have police protection and is relying on private security firms to donate their services. He is laying way low - I don’t blame him!
His site was hosted by GoDaddy, but I believe his attorneys wanted the site taken down.
Interesting background, from Reuters no less:

These people at NBC6 Miami are dirty and it looks like everything they do regarding this case is horribly slanted.
Well, either NBC6, or AP, which they give credit for the story. They have the story open for comments at the website but they haven’t yet posted the one I sent, or any others.
The story at your link indicates Zimmerman’s lawyer wants to put his defense off on the taxpayer,
“O’Mara has hinted that he will ask Zimmerman to be declared indigent which would allow taxpayers to pay for his legal bills.”,
but a Fox story found by Jaded paints a completely different picture.
We need to do all we can to expose the hypocrisy of these people.
Could be he needs more emails from a bunch of people and some phone calls.
