The Perfect Storm of Liberalism has arrived.
A professional collapse inside the several departments and agencies of the United States government created by a decades-long erosion of standards. An erosion fed by all manner of deadly liberal obsessions from racial quotas to political correctness to an addiction to lawsuits, the tolerance for a culture of out of control spending, wildly improper personal behavior, and more.
This deadly combination is now surfacing repeatedly in scandals as seemingly different as those engulfing the Secret Service, the GSA, the U.S. military, the Department of Justice, and every other tentacle of the federal government imaginable.
Let's look at it liberal issue by liberal issue and examine how this perfect storm of liberalism is swamping the affected government department or agency in question.
Let's start with:
Racial quotas and the Secret Service: An American Spectator source has fingered the hot-button issue of racial quotas as a serious problem for the Secret Service, an allegation now surfacing (hesitantly to be sure) in no less than the liberal Washington Post.
Did the Secret Service deliberately reduce its hiring standards to insure that minorities were hired and promoted in the name of racial quotas?
Ironically setting up the possibility that the personal security of America's first black president -- himself a decided liberal -- could have been breached with disastrous consequences?
Did this alleged lowering of the agency's standards wind up slowly infecting the agency across-the-board? Thus setting the stage for the explosive sex scandal that has led to the investigation of 12 Secret Service agents. Was the Cartagena scandal actually "fixed" -- "settled" -- until the Miami SAC got wind of what was happening on her turf -- when she blew the scandal wide open?

Ha. Want the best evidence?
Think about the postal workers when you were growing up, versus what you see today.
Worked for USPS several decades and POD before that ~ and over the years the QUALITY increased.
So, let's hear some details first ~
We don’t know who the SS guys are yet.
I remember when Obama was inaugurated there was a media story done on the secret service agent put in charge of his security. It was a black guy. The story focused on the fact that he was the first black agent put in charge of presidential security. I don’t know if he still has that billet, but I am a bit curious as to why he has been forgotten.
It was unusual for a feature story to be run on a presidential secret service detail to begin with. But now that all this has happened, where is the follow-up? Since the guy already made himself available to the media, why aren’t they pursuing him?
This article infers a lot. Is it true or not?
Maybe there should be racial quotas there as well to reduce the number of black athletes so that the NBA and NFL won't be embarrassed in the future. [sarc]
Wow! This article could certainly begin the DISCUSSION that Holder thinks everyone is afraid to participate in.
This is how fascism works. And everyone feels helpless to do anything about it...weellll guess what?
LEADERSHIP CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.( and if leadership fails, the people will have to do someting about it.)
Define the fascism, expose it and get rid of it.
Liberal fascism is our nations WORST enemy, and it is personified by Barrak Hussein Obama.

Then why do they keep losing my bill payments or delivering them 2 weeks late when it just across town?
The reality is your creditors have gotten into the habit of mailing as late in possible so they can churn the maximum opportunity for late payment fees. They've also dropped their address quality hygiene standards, and even farmed out their billing to people on the other side of the continent. You only think you are getting billed by people across town.
They have several other tricks that delay mail ~
You might send them a letter and find out what they are so that you can prepare for them.
Oh, yeah, and remember when they all eliminated the opportunity to PAY EARLY? That was so their actions to delay billing to generate late payment fees worked so well.
It’s a good article, but Mr. Lord somehow failed to mention the most blatant affirmative action hire: the Kenyan canine consumer occupying the Oval Office.
I have seen attempts at USPS Headquarters to impose "affirmative action" by promoting unqualified non-college educated women into jobs otherwise requiring a masters or doctors degree.
That usually lasts a few months ~ then somebody figures out the work still has to get done so you'll see those people shoveled off the path like last week's dirty snow.
And when the SS hires Malik Shabazz, Carney can say, “That’s preposterous! I personally know THREE Malik Shabazz’s”.
Bill Ayers? That’s ANOTHER Bill Ayers who spends a lot of time at the WH.
Yeah, that’s the ticket.
I see it in college basketball coaching. Every college team has to have at least one black assistant, if not the head coach.
That's why they make so much money, right? Your "quality" company wouldn't even exist if taxpayers weren't forced to prop it up.
I don’t think this is so much a racial issue as an affirmative action issue. That is, it is not that there is an inherent difference between minorities and whites as to sexual self-control; rather, it is a question of whether the most qualified persons are in leadership positions or is affirmative action degrading both leadership and the confidence of those being led in the Secret Service.
The answer is simple - each of us must be held to the same standard, period. Academically, in our chosen professions and personal behavior whatever the result. Regardless of any other consideration.
Of course this will never happen - the grievance industry is big money.
I wonder whether they have racial quotas to determine who jumps in front of the President and shields him in the event of a disturbance.
