"... Taft decided enough was enough and persuaded Congress to authorize the construction of a permanent home for the Court. Construction on the Supreme Court Building was completed in 1935, and the Court finally had a home to call its own after 146 years of existence.
Sculpture figures prominently in the Corinthian architecture of the Court Building. One chamber features a frieze decorated with a bas-relief sculpture by Adolph A. Weinman of eighteen influential law-givers. The south wall depicts Menes, Hammurabi, Moses, Solomon, Lycurgus, Solon, Draco, Confucius and Octavian, while the north wall depicts Napoleon Bonaparte, John Marshall, William Blackstone, Hugo Grotius, Louis IX, King John, Charlemagne, Justinian and, you guessed it, Mohammad." ...

Posts like yours remind us of how Un-American Romanism is, and how it was rightfully despised by our founders. The contribution of the Vatholic a church to the founding principles of this country is zero.
Nope. According to the article, this building was completed in 1935, during Franklin Roosevelt’s reign.
I was wondering how these particular historical figures were picked.
Aren’t Muslims outraged by any physical depiction of Mohammad (not to mention just about everything else)? I’m surprised irate mobs haven’t stormed the Supreme Court building or Obama hasn’t ordered the image destroyed.
I finaly found something I agree with the Moslims about. Let's get Mohammad off the Supreme Court.
There aren’t supposed to be any images of the “prophet”
Now, maybe someone go cut off some heads to avenge this insult

It is interesting and amusing because Saudi Arabia, you know, where the king of saudi is the “keeper of the two holy mosques,” the center of the universe for moon-rock worshipers, the Vatican of islam. . .in Saudi their national flag has a gosh-darned sword on it.
*Snicker*
*Snort*
Bwahahahaha. . . CAIR, what a bunch of moroons. . .
B.S. the sculptures show NOTHING of the sort. The Congress that “approved” the supreme Court Building were not/cannot be confused with the Founders -who were all dead by 1900. The sculptures reflect the men remembered for their association with Law. Nothing more nor less. And by 1900 American education no longer resembled the American system that educated the men who wrote our Constitution and Bill of Rights...but had been corrupted by the likes of Horace Mann, and after him John Dewey, and ht e”progressives favorite pagan Darwin.
Great.
I wasted an hour on that site. LOL
Very addicting and I found the answer to a question I wondered about since I was a kid. “How did Radio-Flyer wagon” get the name.
Very American and very Americana....
Jesus wasn’t a giver of laws.
They'll get around to it, probably as soon as Obama is safely re-elected.
Nor was Mohammed in actuality.
