Scientists may hesitate to link some of the weather extremes of recent years to global warming but the public, it seems, is already there.
A poll due for release on Wednesday shows that a large majority of Americans believe that this years unusually warm winter, last years blistering summer and some other weather disasters were probably made worse by global warming. And by a 2-to-1 margin, the public says the weather has been getting worse, rather than better, in recent years.
The survey, the most detailed to date on the public response to weather extremes, comes atop other polling showing a recent uptick in concern about climate change. Read together, the polls suggest that direct experience of erratic weather may be convincing some people that the problem is no longer just a vague and distant threat.

Exactly, HR.
Uh oh, storms coming. Got to go batten down the hatches. BBL...
Since they don’t believe in a higher power, they have to blame someone.
My opinion. The extreme weather started the moment obama stepped foot into the white hut. Get him out of there and all will be well again.
The weather this year is the same as it was two years ago. Nothing has changed. Same pattern. One year we had 7 feet of snow, the next year, 7 feet of water. no biggie. Stuff like this happened in the past also when there were no snowplows or generators. We have it easy in this century.
The last Blizzard we had here was the “President’s Day Blizzard of 2003” (Feb 22?), and it’s been fairly snowless ever since, with the exception of some very cold Jan/Feb months. The past 3 years have been very mild and this year saw 4-5” of snow/ice, little rain and no cold weather. We’re in for a major insect infestation this spring, summer & fall:
3. The weather or changes in the weather really do not matter to me. | |

When the signs that indicate the tribulation period only begin to become evident (Luke 21:28), we must lift up our heads because our redemption draws near.
Thank you for bringing all those prophecies from the word of God to this thread. The Bible predicted this weather over two thousand years ago! And now the folks who can't even tell us what the weather will be next week want everyone to listen to them! Well the Christians know better!
For those who have not yet read the Bible, or who have not yet believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as Conquerer and King, if you are interested, take the verses mentioned above, such as "Luke 21:28" and paste them into this search engine: Biblegateway.com
The only answer to even break the 50% mark: "Extreme High Winds".
But wait, let's go to that breakdown: Nat. Avg. 60% / NE 71% / Midw 70% / South 46% / West 63%
Now, Midw=El Nino's amplified Southern jet stream, but what from 2011 could account for the NE response? Hmmm...
Oh, yeah, a meandering, overdue, overblown, downgraded-to-TS-at-landfall Category 1 hurricane. And what did the Yalie's do during this? Published a Irene drinking game, of course. Probably where they came up with this "poll".
The Left’s work is done.
Im not surprised. The majority of any public is easily swayed by ecstatic, emotional idolatry.
Polls are now a substitute for science.
This is poll driven news, pretending to stand as “proof” of something.
THX THX Dear Sister in Christ.
imho . . .
global warming is a horrific hoax of globalist manipulators’ proportions.
Scripture speaks of the sun becoming 7 times hotter for a period in the Great Tribulation . . . that’s a different issue, imho.
The globalists use the farce of global warming for all manner of !!!CONTROL!!! and other corrupt mercenary games.
And the willfully blind and ignorant follow them over the cliff of sanity and stability.
Lots is going on. And much is very complex and horrific.
But the worst of it is spiritual AS WELL AS political, technological, etc.
typical survey:
” Would you say that:
__ Climate Change MASSIVELY cause problem
__ Climate Change MODERATELY cause problem
__ Climate Change MILDLY cause problem
Thank You For Participating
They forgot:
_____ NONE OF THE FREAKING ABOVE!
LOL.
I wonder what his tax bracket - if any - is?
I would expect I Gore would be in the 55% bracket, that is IRS would add 55% to his income.
