Michelle Obama made a remarkable claim when talking up her husband, President Barack Obama, at a campaign event earlier today in Nashville, Tennessee.
"I am so in," Michelle Obama said toward the end of her remarks. "I am going to be working so hard. We have an amazing story to tell. This president has brought us out of the dark and into the light."
The crowd of nearly 450 folks applauded as the first lady likened her husband to a Jesus-like figure.

Platitudes and generalizations - ‘hope and change’, ‘change you can believe in’, and taking us from dark to light.
How about 1, just one idiot in the media ask Michelle what evidence of such a positive transformation exists?
Here’s just some of what I see:
1) Gas prices higher than I’ve ever experienced in my lifetime.
2) Stimulus and other spending us into slavery.
3) Obamacare - march to socialism, and risking the quality of our healthcare
4) Regulation hurting the marketplace
5) An economy and unemployment rate that is a disaster
6) Damaged relationships with our historical allies.
7) Anecdotal I know, but the sense that race relations have actually gone from good to bad during Obama’s tenure.
