actually so long as we still have the First Amendment I don’t suppose the Jihadis will make it past Patterson, New Jersey...
Well, he’s honest. And I’m sure Pookie, Man Man and Junebug have a much greater impact on the life of Philadelphia than al Qaeda. Good to hear someone say that letting local residents turn their cities into war zones has got to stop.
Let me break it down for ya, Mayor:
When terrorists attack, they kill RANDOM people, the majority of whom are good, productive citizens.
When your thugs attack, they generally kill other thugs who were going to eventually kill some other thug anyway.
Are you pickin’ up what I'm layin’ down?
Michael, Michael. If OBL wanted to “make a statement” in Philadelphia his probably target would be an office building and his method would be a truck-bomb or an aircraft. He needn’t walk the streets of Philadelphia to accomplish his mission.
His name is appropriate.
I guess he doesn’t worry about whitey patronizing much of Philly either.
Eh. I worked in Philly. I kind of see his point, sort of, if I squint real hard and turn my head sideways. Inarticulate as he is, gang bangers probably do kill more people each year in the US than has any international terror group. And they aren’t always killing other gang bangers either.
The problem though won’t be solved by law enforcement. All that can do is keep it to a low boil and mostly bottled up in the cities. The real problem is the welfare state and what it has done to finance and promote the destruction of the family and to give rise hideous social pathologies.
This is a problem 45 years in the making, and it will take longer than that to correct. You’d have to re-create a civilization where none now exists. I’d say look to Afghanistan for a harbinger of what our chances are. In fact, the most daunting nation-building task we now face is right there in the urban poverty belt of our cities.
He’s right.
Read up on the Bombay terrorist attack. The perps had absolute free reign. There were no cops and no armed citizens.
Of course in the case of my neighborhood, it would not be terrorists, it would be zombie spillover from Nutter’s neighborhoods. And Nutter’s constituents wouldn’t live long enough to bleed.
One thing about Philly—those folks sure are civic minded.
Poll results in November will be over 110% of registered voters, easy.
It’s the Philly way.
It’s a novel comment. “My city is safe because international terrorists are afraid of the street crime.”
Major Strasser: Are you one of those people who cannot imagine the Germans in their beloved Paris?
Rick: It's not particularly my beloved Paris.
Heinz: Can you imagine us in London?
Rick: When you get there, ask me.
Captain Renault: Hmmh! Diplomatist!
Major Strasser: How about New York?
Rick: Well there are certain sections of New York, Major, that I wouldn't advise you to try to invade.
A bit racist are we Nutter?
West Philly is solidly black.
Sorry, but his words fall on deaf ears. I’m sure he was one of the first to join the hoodie protest. George Zimmerman is what happens to people who care about protecting their neighborhoods. My nephew had the good fortune of attending a college in his fair city. One Halloween evening he was attacked by a group of “ trick or treaters “ while riding his bicycle to his off compass apartment. They got him on the ground and preceded to kick him, fracturing his jaw and a few ribs. Not too long after he was robbed on the street in plain daylight. After this fiasco with the neighborhood watch captain, who in their right mind would want to get involved ?
Chytown....golt' medal winners of the gangbanger olympics.
