You’re quite welcome. They were two well-deserved zots, for two very different reasons.

Thank you!

What's wrong with you, chessplayer? Stick to checkers, the MSM and lying mitt beat you at their propaganda game with that comment. Newt couldn't have been more clear with his intentions of to make them do their JOB instead of legislating from the bench.

Thank you, NEWT!

Lordy! If anyone deserved a zot, it was that annoying know-it-all and insult machine. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

This guy is such a disaster.

Mitt did/does NOT belong in the GOP race. Since when is 'his record' a GOP platform? From day one, the candidates should have been saying that about mitt but he surrounded himself with 'conservative' candidates who would 'cover' him and not speak the obvious and now, along, with 'conservatives' those who support him, i.e., Rubio, etc, etc, etc,. Voters have been duped big time!

Threads like these are becoming increasingly common and sadly repugnant. FR used to tolerate and encourage the sharing of our fellow freepers’ beliefs. Now, in response to the outrageous conduct of this and the last election, Freepers are becoming just as distasteful as our nation’s leaders. Please do not compromise the old soul of FreeRepublic while in contention with our nation’s wicked politicians.

“Well, I’ll say one thing about Romney: he doesn’t need a teleprompter to lie to us!”

That is the best quote I’ve heard in a while. Thanks!

It’s irrelevant. Romney is not a conservative. Wah. It sucks. But he’s not a socialist. Obama is far far worse than Romney. It shocks me reading all this stuff about how Romney is the same as 0 and that many freepers won’t vote. Jesus, yall. Obama is the worst thing to ever happen to this country. Support America, Vote Romney.

Romney brought Socialized healthcare to his state and inspired Obamacare. That's SOCIALIST ENOUGH FOR ME, THANK YOU!

Gingrich proposes to make them do their JOB instead of legislating from the bench.

Wrong. He said as President HE will be the final word of what is Constitutional or not, not the SC. He has said that as President, he would have the authority to ignore any SC ruling he didn’t like. He has said Congress could abolish certain courts altogether. He has said if federal judges make a ruling he doesn’t like, said judges should be hauled into Congress to explain themselves, and if they don’t appear, they should be arrested. Yes, indeed, Gingrich would do away with the Founding Fathers system of govt.

Back that up with a link.

I've heard him speak on this several times and NEVER heard him say anything that remotely sounds like what you claim.

I notice that you didn't deny that SCOTUS is out of control.

Your "paraphrase" is over-reaching.

Newt Gingrich says he'd defy Supreme Court rulings he opposed

Newt Gingrich says as president he would ignore Supreme Court decisions that conflicted with his powers as commander in chief,

snip

Relying on those precedents, Gingrich said that if he were in the White House, he would not feel compelled to always follow the Supreme Court's decisions on constitutional questions. As an example, he cited the court's 5-4 decision in 2008 that prisoners held by the U.S. at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, had a right to challenge their detention before a judge.

I’ve read every post on this thread. This is what I thought would happen - Romneybots will sign up to praise Romney with the ole “anyone but Obama” routine - “at least he’s better than Obama”.

Obamabots will sign up to say “vote third party”, or “write-in” to keep Freepers from voting for Romney.

Then, there are some of us who think - I won’t vote for anyone who is the exact opposite of my values - economic values, self protection values, defense of country values, Christian values. That’s it in concrete. Romneybots and Obamabots won’t affect me and many others.

Those of you who respond to zots with graphics, you will be busy.

Buy a clue, Philosophy didn't make AMERICA great and it won't make you great. Stop being a child and grow up!! First thing, respect your elders and don't tell the owner what to do and then drop your dumb 'lay down and take it' philosophy on his door step. What are you a commie?

Without our Patriots and their Fighter spirit against the enemy, America wouldn't have made it this far.

“Former Bush Attorneys General Call Gingrich Position on Courts ‘Dangerous’”

“Two former attorneys general under President George W. Bush have found a few things to like in Newt Gingrich’s position paper on reining in the authority of the federal courts, but other parts, they say, are downright disturbing.”

“Some of the ideas are “dangerous, ridiculous, totally irresponsible, outrageous, off-the-wall and would reduce the entire judicial system to a spectacle,” said former Attorney General Michael Mukasey.”

Your first link comes up as error! FOX NEWS probably was FORCED to remove THEIR LIES!!

And Newt’s site and he says the EXACT OPPOSITE of what you accuse him of! You fail big time!

Do you even know that the founding fathers never set up a ‘a job for life’ for judges! Get educated and stop spreading lies about Newt. You must support LIAR mitt.
