Guaranteed. (Vanity)

It pains me to write this, but I am a realist: Barack Obama is one-hundred-percent guaranteed to win the 2012 Presidential race, and there is precious little anyone can do about it.
Please do not take this as a license to do nothing to prevent it. It is best that we go to our fate knowing we did all we could to stop it. We must know in deep in our core that all our hearts and souls were poured into thwarting the plans of this tyrant.
However: allow me to present the reasons I know we are destined to have another -- terminal -- four years of Obama:
- War With Iran: One-hundred-percent chance of Obama going to war with Iran in August of 2012. This will be a cynical pseudo-war intended ONLY to benefit Obama with the very-long-demonstrated rally-round-the-President phenomenon. August also gives the proper time frame to allow the momentum to build in Obama's favor, and yet not be long enough of a 'war' to garner popular anger. It also prevents the Republicans from having enough time to educate the public about this hideously-cynical Machiavellian move.
- High Gas Prices as a Positive: The War with Iran will allow Obama to claim he is doing this to reduce gasoline prices, or prevent them from rising. This is nonsense, of course: It will be launched for political reasons and his Transportation Secretary pick, Steven Chu, has long been on record as favoring very high gasoline prices.
- Race Wars: Racial low-grade warfare will be purposefully pushed by this Administration, and coupled with a complicit press, the incidents of black-on-white violent crime will be 'disappeared down the memory hole', but any white-on-black violent crime will be heralded and trumpeted on every headline on every newspaper and Gangster Government Media outlet. This is intended to increase the black vote.
- Lies about the Economy: The complicit press will continue to lie about the economy, biasing things to show Obama in a good light.
- Occupy Wall Street: Occupy Wall Street protests will drastically increase, in a manner intended to highlight Mitt Romney's wealth and paint him as a 1%-er, and paint Obama as an average guy.
These are the major election strategies Obama clearly intends to run on. Add in some of the more minor strategies: Active and ignored voter fraud; Ignoring and overruling Supreme Court rulings on Obamacare being unconstitutional; and the fabricated 'Republican war on women', and you have a formula for guaranteed Obama re-election.And if you thought Obama was bad in Presidential term one, imagine him with nothing to lose in Presidential term two.

Do you think an 80-85% Latino vote is still possible with what they are doing to Zimmerman? I think they overplayed their race card on this one. The narrative assume he was white. They did everything to make that happen but the truth smashed the narrative. I am thinking more than a few fence sitters will be less likely support the race baiter in chief.

The October Surprise will be that the surprise came in August.

You forgot #1: He will cheat. You beat me to it. That's going to be a major problem. But unlike the other items on Lazamataz's excellent list, no one outside of FR types and maybe Rush will talk about voter fraud.

What you are *guaranteeing* is that Obama will engage in the ever popular “War for Oil” campaign that Bush started in Iraq some 10 years ago.
No way. I disagree 100%.
The only way we engage Iran in conflict is if they attack Israel.

War with Iran, nope, Russia and China won't allow it.Interesting thesis, but Obama isn't quite rational, and he'll provoke Iran any way he can. He will NOT 'allow' Israel to participate, he hates Israel.

I think you underestimate Romney. He did not make a huge fortune by being a wimp. He knows there is more than one way to skin a cat, and will play the nice guy while it suits him, but no longer.

Don’t agree but time will tell.
Carter was “winning” until he lost in a landslide...
I don’t see how a “race war” helps Obama. Any riots that occur will be in the major cities where the liberals live and they won’t like it much and won’t be able to claim that another 4 years of Obama will some how cool things down when it all is happening on his watch to begin with.
Most liberals are unarmed and won’t like living in fear in their own homes.

War with Iran, nope, Russia and China won't allow it.The problem is, he will probably get his conflict, but things may spiral quickly out of control as China and Russia join the conflict on the side of Iran, or simply the side of HELL NO AMERICA.

I agree with you both. I’ll add this to your factors:
Being as how Mitt Romney is the GOP nominee, at minimum 10% of conservatives abstain from voting for POTUS. Possibly, as high as 18-20%.
Factor that in, and I’d Obama wins by 10 points quite handily.

There may be a few(sic) left that think Obama has good intentions..
Probably only democrats and Romney voters..
Romney voters just think Obama is overdoing the socialism A BIT..
Santo voters are just pissed off about abortion.. but love the Unions..
Newt voters know the boy is a whore as well.. but if you screw him and not pay... HE WILL CUT YOU..
I got my money on the “b!tch” from Georgia..
He might not “win” but he talks dirty...

Nothing to lose = "more flexibility"
- More flexibility to issue Executive Orders that re-interpret well established law
- More flexibility to implement new law through executive agency policies and rules
- More flexibility to dismantle the military
- More flexibility to refuse to enforce laws he feels are unconstitutional
- More flexibility to dismantle our strategic missile defense
- More flexibility to selectively enforce civil rights laws
- More flexibility to apologize for American Exceptionalism
- More flexibility to destroy the economy
- More flexibility to balloon the deficit
- More flexibility to negotiate with our enemies
- More flexibility to do whatever he damn well pleases
