High school paints over portion of student's mural

It seems another mural at a Rhode Island high school is causing a controversy.

Elizabeth Bierenday, a junior at Pilgrim High School in Warwick, was asked to create a mural for the school.

She sketched a mural that showed the growth of a boy into adulthood. The last image showed a man with a woman and child and wedding rings over their heads.

I’ve grown to expect challenges to words like “God” in the schools or to prayers. But I have to admit, this is a new cultural low. I’m actually speechless (but not completely commentless.)

Well, you know, we can't have images of normal heterosexual marriage and procreation being part of a school mural. Don'tcha know? Those are oppressive and counter-revolutionary. No growing boy should be exposed to such things.

Images showing gay butt-sex might be a little over the line, but maybe just have the "woman" in the marriage by replaced by another boy, and the "baby" replaced by an adopted third-world victim of vicious capitalist oppression.

That's much more typical of the New Cultural Norms, which are designed to destroy America.

Every book, piece of music, visual art must be destroyed and rebuilt for the state and the statists. We will agree on its meaning and content. Got that comrade?

The “public school” is BY FAR, the largest, most expensive, most subversive, and most destructive entitlement program in the country.

The “public school” is better understood as the “government school collective”.

It is silly to imagine that you can fix the public schools, because the very concept itself is communist.

Any child that comes out of the government school collective with their moral compass and common sense intact does so in spite of the government school indoctrination, not because of it.

If you want to win the culture war, have lots of children (see my tagline) and homeschool them or form your own school cooperative with your church or synagogue and like-minded friends and relatives.

Nobody loves your children more than you do.

Nobody can teach your children like you can.

Your children would love nothing better than to be taught by you, if you start doing so before they are corrupted by the government school collective.

It is hypocritical for you to submit your children to an authority with whom you fundamentally disagree. And your children will know it.

If you have children, make whatever sacrifices you must to get them out of the public schools.

DO NOT FEED THE BEAST!

Especially not with your own children.

The U.S. government turned America into a flop house for the world, and some Americans can't figure out what happened...

They fail to see the U.S. government divided the once united, yet it's right in front of their faces.

Let's see, it's the married life that offended and needed painting over because it doesn't represent every student's life. Riiiiiight.

He can walk? A+ grade? The cap and gown? The laptop? The musical instrument? Being male? Are these representative of every student's life?

There's a "Golden Arches" and hamburger in the mural too. She's offending the vegans as well.

In many ways her mural is downright subversive vs. the "diversity" police.

All the student artist would have to do is say that the man and women are transgendered and married to each other. No problem.

Oh, OK, I've read about Portlandia, and will check it out. Armisen is a comic genius. I die over his Latin tv show on SNL. Last night he had Sofia Vergara on it, doing his special dance. LOL!!
