SANFORD, Florida (CNN) - A forensic audio expert who analyzed 911 recordings disagrees with speculation that George Zimmerman uttered a racial slur moments before shooting Trayvon Martin to death.
What the neighborhood watch volunteer whispered as he followed the teen leading up to the deadly confrontation could weigh into the decision about charges against Zimmerman.
The garbled word that raised controversy was "punks," not "coons," said Tom Owen, chairman emeritus of the American Board of Recorded Evidence.
When Owen used a computer application to remove cell phone interference, the word became clearer, he said. After discussions with linguists, he became convinced that Zimmerman said "punks," he said.
He provided CNN with a copy of the processed audio.

Zimmerman clearly said, “Go out and buy more guns and ammo”.....so I did! :D
Let them keep their license and change the FCC rules to allow 'a la carte' cable subscriptions. Then let the networks wither on the vine.
After the cold comment the dispatcher asks if he was following and then replies He doesn't need to do that,
Let's read into the comment like the left did. He says it's cold out here, she says you don't need to stay out in the cold.
WHY would anyone make a derogatory comment that the person cannot see and may themselves be black? Particularly one who is involved (friends and family member are AA).
I listened to the recording and it definitely sounded like “f-—in punks”, certainly not “f-—in coons” as the race baiter have been trying to claim.
He was sort of muttering under his breath while speaking to the 911 dispatcher. He wasn’t addressing any individual(s) as “punks”. He was talking about Martin (and punks like in in general) not talking to Martin.
Nonsense! I do digital data processing of seismic data for a living. We remove noise all the time with band-pass filters. The cell phone noize would have a certain frequency range and can be easily removed.
Not true. If you were chasing a coyote, you might say ‘f__king coyotes’..
Where in hell are the forensics. Was there powder stippling on Martins skin and clothing? If so...it was up close. If not the shot came from a distance. It would be easy to determine if he was shot while fighting Martin.
I posted at the time that this was mis-heard.
He said "...they always get away... [breath] ...out the back gate."
He was telling the dispatcher that they head in a certain direction. He was not lamenting that they always get away.

Security Camera Footage and 911 tape recordings for this case can be seen and heard here:

Thanks for that link. I watched the videos. One of them showed Zimmerman doing something I think is kind of interesting. He is walking in to the police station surrounded by officers. As he walks in the door he does something that only the officer behind him does maybe because Zimmerman does it first. What he does is to me a sign of respect for where he is at. It is a simple thing but to me says something about him. I’ve never met a gang banger or punk that would have done this very simple thing as they walk in to a PD that you can see Zimmerman do here:

If you play the audio backwards, what do you hear????
If you were waiting to cross a busy railroad crossing, you might say 'F__king trains'.
Ooh! Or if you were outside at a campfire and the mosquitos were biting you, you might say 'F__king mosquitos'.
(This is all so stupid. I'm an idiot for participating at all)
Maybe Zimmerman used the word, "spook".
They are now morphing him into a Clint Eastwood character, since the last round failed.
Wipes his shoes?
I love it. He actually remembers to wipe his shoes on the mat. LOL!!
I buried Travon.
Of course the left will claim he is destroying evidence.
