Not to belabor the obvious. If Zimmerman shot Martin in self defense it doesn't matter what he called him. Does it suddenly become something other than self defense if you call the guy beating your head into the sidewalk a bad name? Of course not. This has no bearing on the case.

Where in hell are the forensics. Was there powder stippling on Martins skin and clothing? If so...it was up close. If not the shot came from a distance. It would be easy to determine if he was shot while fighting Martin.
