Obama recent statements on the US Supreme Court Judicial Review:
Obama: I'd just remind conservative commentators that for years what we've heard is, the biggest problem on the bench was judicial activism or a lack of judicial restraint — that an unelected group of people would somehow overturn a duly constituted and passed law,” Obama said. “Well, this is a good example. And I'm pretty confident that this court will recognize that and not take that step.”
...... and.......
Obama: “’I am confident,” announced the president of the United States, “that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress.”
Of course a number of those democratically elected Congress members that passed it were bribed (with special $$$ for their states) with the taxpayer money to get their votes : Nelson , Sanders, Landrieu and others. And dont forget that Justice Kagan wrote the Obama-care legal defense that she is ruling on.
If we had an independent watch-dog media they would be asking the Obama the following questions on his views on Judicial Activism and Restraint:
Should the unelected justices overturn The Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress.”?
Should the unelected justices re-write the states traditional marriage Laws that have been constitutional for hundreds of years?
Should the unelected justices overturn Arizonas immigration enforcement laws passed by a majority of the state legislators?
Should the unelected justices overturn states voter ID laws passed by a majority of the state legislators in various states?
Would the so called conservative justices ruling to overturn Obama-care sit better with you if they first wrote the law-suit against it before being appointed to the court to rule on it (just as justice Kagan wrote your defense)?
I am sure there are many more examples I cant put my finger on this morning. Obama doesnt believe half of what he says and I wrote the above to illustrate it.

Fox News has become a little squishy on conservative issues. They are no longer the fire-breathing conservatives we once respected.
That being said ... isn't there a conservative "sugar daddy" who could launch a REAL conservative media outlet (TV or cable, since we already have radio and web outlets) that would hold FIRMLY to conservative positions? Maybe with classes on the Constitution and plenty of Judge Napolitano?
I feel like we're wandering in the liberal wilderness without a star to guide us, while the libs have Ed Shultz & Co.

2009 to 2010 FNC tolerated the Tea Party, Beck, etc to use against Democrats. After the 2010 election FNC found principled conservatives like them about as useful as Democrats (MSNBC too) found Cindy Sheenan after the 2006 election. She never got invited back again ansd Beck got canned from FNC.
FNC is the Republican channel and MSNBC is the Democrat channel. Both will tolerate their activist base as long as they are useful to the party, and not critical of it.
I still like Neil Cavuto alot. Brett Baur does a good job too.
I quit watching Fox about 4 years ago. I don’t watch any TV news. Fox caved, so what is to watch?

You know, when I read the text I thought it sounded weak, but when I heard the audio, McConnell sounded like he was saying the word "respectfully" in a kind of mocking tone.
Of course, I would not trust McConnell in all cases, but in this instance I think he said the right thing.
Where has he been for 3 years?
