I respect all supporters of Mister Gingrich (I don't happen to, hopefully y'all can respect that), and it's cool with me that you want to carry on.
Looking at the returns of tonight's primaries, I do not believe that it's in the cards for Newt.
My hope is that when Mister Ginrich leaves the race, he does so with dignity and grace, and finds ways to help the GOP ticket and to defeat Mister Obama.

None of the remaining candidates will leave before the Republican Convention.

Many of the coming primaries are winner-take-all. That means in close elections Gingrich is handing delegates to Romney.

As long as Newt is out there taking his message to Americans, he is one more patriot telling America why they should not reelect Zer0. As Santorum said, this is just the half time. There is half of America that needs to be reached up front and in person to consider America’s future and how Zer0 should have zero part of it.

MY perception is that those who support romney are merely trying to associate with a supposed ‘winner’. They have failed to investigate their candidate and determine what policies will be supported (read continued) during an administration of which he is a figurehead. They either don't know or don't care about the ramifications of the election.
If this is the case, the U.S.A. is in fact doomed (if we're not already beyond the point of no return) either way the election goes.
Fortunately, my faith is in Jesus and the Lord's Will.

It is weird that he mentions this over and over again. People know he is in but he really isn’t getting anywhere. He got a few hundred votes yesterday in 3 states. Certainly not competitive. He is just going around kissing babies I guess.

The only possibility, other than the large headed displaced lib dud mittwit, is Santorum or a brokered convention.
Santorum would have to be doing A LOT better than he is so..
Go brokered convention!

Fantastic. I for one am ecstatic that Newt isn't caving to the pressures of the RNC. Some Americans actually love the United States of America and we're not willing to continue letting the communists (
aka - progressives, liberals, socialists, fascists, McCains, Romneys, Obombas,...) destroy our nation.
We have an illegal alien occupying the White House and no one with the authority seems to want to arrest him and return our country to it's citizens.
We have liberals in the Republican party lying to the members of the Republican party and trying to convince us that Romney is a "Conservative." They are also trying to tell us that Newt is NOT a Conservative yet it is only Newt that has a real record of being a Conservative.
My hope is that Newt does love the United States of America as much as he seems to and that he will do as he says and continue to the Convention. I also hope it forces a brokered convention whereupon Sarah Palin will become the nominee and Newt will become her running mate.
It's said the VP nominee is the attack dog that takes on the opponent's nominee. Gingrich will mop the floor with obomba.
If this scenario does not pan out and romney does become out nominee this country is sooooooooooooooooooooooo screwed. We as a country may not be able to recover from obomba's first term. We certainly won't survive a second obomba term.
There is a reason our founding fathers put the natural born citizenship stipulation into our constitution but for some reason the powers that be don't have the testicles to enforce it.
If we can't use the Constitution and the law to remove the Manchurian candidate (obomba) from office then Newt is the next best thing.
JMHO

I think it’s important that supporters of Newt continue to donate to his campaign, even though it looks like right now it’s floundering. I want him to stay in this thing to the end. If he wins the nomination, I will consider it a heaven-sent thing. If he doesn’t, I still think staying in gave him a good platform to get his messages out and hopefully affect future policy should a not-Zero win the election.

Republican Candidates could improve their Primary vote count by campaigning with the following idea:
Due to the FHA, Fannie and Freddie Bankruptcies of September, 2008, American home owners lost 30 % of the value of their homes. That is a 30 % cut in just one month. Home values are still down 30 %.
Thus, let us cut the total compensation to all elected Federal politicians, and their staffs by 30 %, and an additional 10 % cut to elected Federal politicians each year until Federal Spending is LESS THAN the average of the previous 2 years of Federal income.
BTW, since slightly less than half of the US House, and 2/3 of the US Senate are Millionaires, it will be a great opportunity for Congress to lead by example that EVERYONE should give up their fair share of the American Dream.
What better way can there be to demonstrate that Federal politicians are on the same page as the voters?
