I noticed Drudge is attacking Santorum now just like he did Newt. Something like "Maybe he will get all his delegates by 2016" and that is a big headline with Santorum looking overwhelmed. Drudge and Coulter sure have a vicious streak and it is obvious he is for Romney. Just like Fox. He didn't like that Santorum called him out on it. Check out the tweet he made on Sarah Palin: MATT DRUDGE@DRUDGEReply Well, at least @SarahPalinUSA didn't lecture us about 'The Establishment' as she was hosting TODAY! But so fun to see her top @katiecouric!

They get SS protection once they are seen as a major candidate, how is Newt possibly considered a major candidate at this point? He is coming in 4th and getting 6% in some places.
How do you LOSE the SS protection once you get them?

If its all wrapped up why do they continue to attack Santorum. Does anyone think they will be attacking Romney this hard later on? Like McCain, probably not.

I don’t know the answer to that, but my guess would be that he will have the protection as long as he is a candidate.

I agree. After every state won, I see the Fox people saying “This is it! Its Romney!” Drudge has been despicable in his coverage.

I respect all supporters of Mister Gingrich (I don't happen to, hopefully y'all can respect that), and it's cool with me that you want to carry on.
Looking at the returns of tonight's primaries, I do not believe that it's in the cards for Newt.
My hope is that when Mister Ginrich leaves the race, he does so with dignity and grace, and finds ways to help the GOP ticket and to defeat Mister Obama.

I do not believe that it's in the cards for Newt. You haven't played cards then with Newt. You can be assured Newt has more purpose in staying in this then what meets the eye. Did you see him operate when he moved Congress and Clinton? The man is skilled and able. It's not wise to underestimate him. Unfortunately voters are easily mis-lead and don't understand the game as it's really being played.
Newt will not be done til Newt says so...there are too many behind him to take this to Convention and willing to pony up the bucks to get it there. So no he will not be dropping out.
Remember Newt said from the get go..early on, that convention was a possibility, he knew how the Media would work this, and he knew how Romney would play.

None of the remaining candidates will leave before the Republican Convention.

I'll work hard for, and vote for whomever wins the GOP nomination, and if that happens to be Newt, I suspect that we'll be co-workers.

Romney still didn’t get 50% even thought its been pretty much declared over by the MSM and GOPe
I think that says a lot about what a loser and a snoozer he is.
I called him the designated loser, I think its a good term.

Many of the coming primaries are winner-take-all. That means in close elections Gingrich is handing delegates to Romney.
