My God...
Come witness your judgement, come see Jerusalem.
At our family farm in Mercer PA we often gather at the big window in the kitchen/dining room and watch the small tornados pass by at the north end of our field...just south of the intersection of 258 and 19.
While they can be serious it’s usually popcorn time. NOTHING LIKE THESE!
Dear Lord shield those in the path of these storms!
Is anyone near Grapevine? Or have you heard from anyone in Grapevine?
At elevation the storm between Hebron and Plano is wrapping up....!
I have 5 households of family scattered around DFW. Talked to 2 who were taking cover, but cannot get ahold of the rest. Sure am praying this is over soon and not as bad as it could be. Seems like the metroplex has become a magnet for severe weather lately.
I live in the area — he’s most likely fine, just frightened. The worst damage in Arlington was SW of where he lives.
That’s an incredible picture.
I got caught out in weather like this several years ago and was 8.5 months pregnant and had 3 year old with me . . . weather was fine when I left for pre-natal checkup . . . after that I learned to watch and take note of where all churches along my normal driving routes were and then hope and pray someone would let me in.
Just heard from him. Close but didn’t hit him. About a mile west so very close. Said most of the big houses they were showing hit were near Martin High SChool in ARlington off Little Road and Pleasant Ridge.
Have family in Plano ....
The cell heading downtown appears to be weakening in the last couple of frames. That’s good news.
I have a son in Keller, not far away. They said one was headed their direction and were taking cover, but haven’t heard from them since. That was at 1:35.
Everybody is ducking for cover. Most buildings/schools have safety plans for such times as today. She’s probably in a safe spot away from the computer. Storms over Irving/las Colinas are still active.
A co-worker of mine lost his house in that tornado. That was '94. He's a little worried right now.
Well so far it’s east of Plano hopefully it holds there then!
Wow! What a story!!!
Hooray! Rain!
Tornado reported in Addison.
