AT 116 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS CONFIRMED A LARGE AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TORNADO. THIS TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR LANCASTER...MOVING NORTH AT 20 MPH.

I heard from him. He is ok and back in his recliner but staying tuned to the weather until 8 tonight. I think from his description it his about 1 mile west and a couple of blocks or so south of him. Whew. Still haven’t heard from sister in Irving but he said he had talked to her. Trying not to add to the heavy tying up of phone lines.
Heavy tree damage and some roof damage in Arlington. No reports yet of any injuries per Fox News.

My sister-in-law had cancer surgery this AM, and she lives in Wylie, slightly northeast of DALLAS. He kids (all adopted) are home. I hope that they have been looked after, or are in no danger.

Glad you heard from him! Fox is talking about another system headed to Arlington as I type this. They are talking about it right now. It is headed toward the “ball park” and the reporter said it is getting dark thee. They encountered hail on the way out. People are having a hard time driving on the road. Inclement weather on the way. Very gray clouds. Meterologist said the storm is right on 30 in Arlington. “Tornadic storm near Arlington is rain wrapped. Your dad should take cover again. He will not be able to see the tornado they said. Heavy rain and hail.
