Anders Behring Breivik, the man who killed 77 people in a bloody massacre in Norway last year, considered an attempt at the life of U.S. President Barack Obama, RIA Novosti reported on Sunday, citing Norwegian media.
According to the reports, Breivik planned to kill Obama as he visited Oslo to accept his Nobel Peace Prize in 2009. The local Dagbladetnewspaper reported that Breivik wanted to kill Obama in protest of the prize, which he said is traditionally awarded to people of leftist views.
Dagbladet reported that Breivik considered disguising himself as a policeman and killing Obama by blowing up a car laden with explosives. He eventually dropped theplan as unfeasible.
Breivik murdered 77 people in his killing spree last July as part of his mad protest against Norwegian officials for not stopping what he sees as a Muslim takeover of the country.
His main target in the shooting spree was a Labor Party summer camp on an island outside of Oslo, where he killed 69 people. Eight others were killed in a car blast in downtown Oslo.
Breivik has admitted to the killings but did not plead guilty, saying his actions were a justified protest. He faces 21 years in prison if convicted.

I read all of his ‘manifesto’, he wanted to kill everyone and mentioned a lot of names. He was just a nut.

I'd wish to politely suggest that most Norwegians aren't necessarily insane per se, it's just that this is what Socialism will do to a country. It'll either make a nation murder hundreds of millions of people for no reason other than they present a minor political obstacle or perhaps one ethnic group slighted another ethnic group ten generations prior.....or it will make the people continually demand a massive centralized State to oversee the huge crime problem....which was made huge as a result of turning criminals such as mass murderers free in a breathtakingly short time to continually terrorize the public.
In Communist circles, you just aren’t worth mentioning unless you were on this guys list.

I stand with you on that. Not one hair, as if he were my own child!
What I don’t want to see is Obama’s visage painted on velvet, such as I’ve seen too many times of the martyred three, JFK, RFK and MLK.
Because then I would really have to kill myself.
