Rossini's sense of humor stands forth in this piano piece. The villagers dance a tarantella, but at 1:50 the local priest comes by, accompanied by two altar boys ringing a bell, while he carries the Blessed Sacrament. The villagers stop dancing and bow their heads.
At 3:18 the priest turns the corner, and the dance starts up again. But at 4:54, the priest returns, and the villagers stop dancing.
Rossini saves his best sound gag for 6:19, where the villagers look around and ask, "He's gone? Let's dance!" The tarantella starts up again.
Rossini: "Tarantella Crossed by a Procession"

Mozart loved setting puns and dirty jokes to music. German dirty humor tends to be scatalogical, rather than sexual in nature. This video has a fine image, but the lyrics are very, very naughty. I won't post the English title; you can figure it out via the German title.
Safe for Ma and Kids? NO!!!

Ed and Alex's dad, Jan Van Halen played clarinet on that one. It's an old fav. I rewrote the lyrics once upon a time for Bill "Bubba" VanTassle, former USMC of Sanbornville, New Hamshah, lol. Big bad Bubba was that song! "Way up yonder in Sanbornville lived a cat named big bad Bill..."
