The parents of an unarmed black teenager shot dead by a neighborhood watch captain in a gated community are leading a rally Monday in the city where he was killed to protest the lack of an arrest or prosecution. Professional football players Ray Lewis and Santonio Holmes are joining civil rights leaders Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton at the rally in Sanford, near Orlando, that comes before a city commission meeting. It's the first time Sanford commissioners have met since the city's police chief stepped down in what he called a temporary move.

Actually it was a nightclub in Buckhead (Cobalt Lounge) and it was two men that were stabbed/killed. Nobody was ever charged because the stabbers claimed self defense.
I believe this was black on black crime so the rules are way different.
Ray Lewis recently started up some controvery when he stated that crime will increase if there is no football this season.

Steelers WR Santonio Holmes has been sued in civil court by a woman who alleged he threw a glass full of liquor at her earlier this month.
Court House News reported the suit, in which Anshonoe Mills alleged that Holmes ordered her to “get up” off a couch inside the VIP section of the Rain Night Club in Orlando on March 7. The suit alleged that Holmes and Mills tussled over placement on the couch, with Holmes claiming he had been there before her.
In the suit, Mills alleged that Holmes threw a glass filled with liquor into her face that cut her.
