The ways this country has dissolved in the past few years, I don’t know why anybody would try a patriotic theme in an advertisement. I haven’t heard a patriotic sentiment out of an average American in years, and I don’t think the “Michele Obama types” are now proud of this country.

No Pepsi either for the same reason. What are they thinking?

If Chrysler planning to ‘Dixie Chick’ their brand... they should plan on yet another logo change - a dollar sign inside a circle with a slash.

So an Italian-owned car company that builds many of its top line models such as the 300, Charger, and Challenger in Canada is “Driving America”.

Anyone else find it odd that an Italian car company is using Red White and Blue in their logo instead of the traditional Green White and Red?

There isn’t a lick of sense among this bunch, is there?
But then, if one knew something would be received warmly by half the country, one might be inclined to forget it infuriates the other half.

Der Volkswagon! (the people’s car)
A National Socialist ‘promise’ was a car for every German. The government actually withheld the worker’s funds prior to delivery (and used the funds to finance the war effort) with the idea that you would ‘own’ the car you received.

That's OK. Mopar stopped existing for me when they stopped the '68-70 Charger-Roadrunner and '70-74 Challenger and Barracuda.
On top of that, the K car became their savior, wth? I had one as a rental while my car was repaired due to an accident. By 3,500 miles ( I got the car new), the CV joints were already clunking. What a pile of junk and its looks, uninspired.
I don't care that they brought back the Hemi. What do race cars run? Four valved pentroof combustion chambers.
