Overall U.S. oil production has been steadily increasing, reversing declines that began in the mid-1980s, and federal Energy Information Administration (EIA) data show that it’s now at the highest level since 2003.

Obama inherited this from Bush. The idea that Obama had anything to do with increased oil production defies reason. It takes about five to eight years from discovery to production.

In fact, projections are that oil production will decrease in the future due to Obama's policies.

Candidates will say publicly in response to Obama saying - "If you hear anybody on TV saying that somehow we are against drilling for oil, then you will know that they either don’t know what they are talking about or they are not telling you the truth." then you have heard a big LIE!
