2 US men arrested on gay cruise in Caribbean

ROSEAU, Dominica (AP) - Two California men on a gay cruise of the Caribbean were arrested Wednesday in Dominica, where sex between two men is illegal.
Police Constable John George said police boarded the cruise ship and arrested the two men on suspicion of indecent exposure and "buggery," a term equivalent to sodomy on the island. He identified the men as John Robert Hart, 41, and Dennis Jay Mayer, 43, but did not provide their hometowns.
George said the men were seen having sex on the Celebrity Summit cruise ship by someone on the dock.

In 1998 the Cayman Islands government notoriously turned away Norwegian Cruise Lines Leeward, which was carrying 900 gay passengers. The tourism directors at George Town stated at the time: "We cannot count on this group to uphold the standards of appropriate behavior expected of visitors to the Cayman Islands." ...and in 1999, we enjoyed our gay-free visit immensely.
Had we wanted to see such perversion on display, we could have saved a bundle, and just driven about 300 miles to San Francisco.
