Van Jones rallies Hawaii crowd in support of green projects, against Wall Street

Published March 21, 2012 | FoxNews.com

Van Jones is returning to the spotlight as a green jobs cheerleader, hosting a rally Tuesday night organized to promote a "green" bank to finance alternative energy programs.

According to the Hawaii Reporter, Jones gave the keynote address at Tuesday's rally, put together by groups who want the state to create a "State Partnership Bank."

Among the legislative proposals is one to have the bank be led by the governor, union leaders and board members appointed by the Democrat-dominated legislature -- raising concern among Republicans that it would facilitate taxpayer handouts for well-connected alt energy businesses.

Jones, the former green jobs czar under the Obama administration who left following several controversies involving his remarks and personal activism, reportedly did not speak specifically about the bank in his address. His remarks focused on inequality in America, as he lambasted what he described as "dream killers in America."

He said some, "especially on Wall Street," are breaking the rules and leaving those who work hardest behind. "That's killing the dream," he said.

Let’s start with Hawaii going all green.

No oil tankers.

No cars.

No electricity.

They can become an “Obama World” country.

(Actually, even though I’m a conservative, methinks ‘twould improve that state immensely.

Oh boy all the usual suspects revolving around Muni Bonds on steroids..

Folks do not take this proposal and the fact it is being launched in Hawaii. True Story. Some 12 years ago I am at a wedding on the East Coadt. A ardent gay from Hawaii is at our table on a screed how we need gay marriage and how do to the early death of his lover and his inability to get at his benefits, money and hospital issues, he was going to make this proposal work in Hawaii. I was kicking my better half under the table as to denote the absurdity of it, since at the time Rush was making note and fun of the proposal as it was on his radar screen. I quipped to my better half quietly, he didn't need gay marriage, but a good Financial Adviser. Their is more to that statement that was prophetic, but not for here at this time.

12 years hence look where we are, again do not take this lightly.

Today I was talking to a Leftist healthcare expert. He asked me to describe one good thing about my 2.5 year old daughter. So I told him she is really bossy. She tells me Sit, she tells me Up, She tells Out and pushes me down the hall.

He replied that he asked about something good. I said: Hey in this world being bossy is good. That is how she naturally is - I'm not changing her. He took a deep breath and gave me a full Leftist lecture about how my daughter needs to learn empathy and how her words and actions make others feel and blah blah blah blah blah... Then he asked me to say one nice thing about my wife. This time I'm scared because I don't know how he is going to respond. So I made up: She cares cares about the Earth. He looked at me puzzled so I added: She worried about the climate, she loves the environment. He asked: Is there something else? I answered: You asked for one thing - you want more? He said: No that is fine. And I thought to myself: Look at that, the Left doesn't want to be dished their own BS.

XLNT!!!

My daughter is 14 yrs old. We had a discussoin yesterday about how she is not exactly “nice” but she is polite when she hsa to be. I told her that she will not get pushed around in life and that I tried to instill that in her. She thanked me. I told her to think positive, don’t hold grudges, let people know what you want but won’t take, look for the best in everyone but realize we are all flawed. Good luck wiht your little girl!

Let’s start with Hawaii going all green.

No oil tankers.

No cars.

No electricity.

No phone ,no lights, no motor car,
Not a single luxury
Like ol’ Ed Begley, Jr.
It’s primitive as can be.
So join us here each week my friends,
You’re sure to spew some bile,
At kool-aid drinking castaways
Here on Obama’s Isle!

Senator Klobuchar (D-Mn) 2009
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goTYOjh2q9M&feature=related

Klobuchar “As Van Jones has said, who is a guy who has written a book about the green collar economy, when you think about the green economy, don’t think about Buck Rogers; think about joe six-pack putting on a green hard hat. Think about Rosie the riveter manufacturing solar panels and wind turbines. This is President Obama’s plan — jobs, jobs, jobs.”

Hawaii is the most heavily Democrat legislature in the country, having only one GOP Senator.

Looks like the commies are now looking to see what grass-root states they can go to pass their agenda since cap and trade, etc. are just not working at the Fed level.
