The new dollar coin does not have the inscription In God We Trust....is this a first?
“The sheeple are content if they have the things mentioned. I think the average American doesnt even grasp what American culture is about, or what liberty means.”
‘Just thinking about this yesterday. What if we really are living in “The Matrix”?
In the case of the Washington coins, there was a batch that made it into circulation without the motto on the side. I've heard it had something to do with the way the coins fed thru the mint press.
As a coin collector, I've seen where this coin “without the motto” will sell anywhere from $150 to $200 depending on the condition, so if you have one (missing the motto), either put it someplace safe OR take it to a coin store and see what they offer you (or better yet, if your coin store is like mine, they have a board where you can list it, as you will get a better sale price from other collectors than at the store).
Relax, the Kenyan is doing all he can to make the dollar worth about a nickel so the $1 coin should be just fine when he’s done.
“WHY IS THERE A COIN FOR THEM TO BE LOCATED ON AT ALL!!”
Because so many Congressmen are idiots. A dollar coin cost more to make than a paper dollar but the lifetime of the coin is so much longer than the paper dollar that it would save a lot of MONEY. People don’t want a pocket full of heavy coins and won’t start using them as long as they keep printing the paper dollar. We had large Eisenhower dollars, Susan B. Anthony dollars that got confused for quarters and the Sacajawea? dollars. Now we have the Presidential series dollars, or at least some of them. At least they may have spurred some warehouse construction.

Nothing so dramatic. Just watching the fall of another country, from the inside. It’s the natural chain of events, and predicted by many over the years.
The experiment is drawing to a close.
“People DON’T WANT a dollar coin.”
Especially one that’s not worth a dime these days!
Your probably right, the quarter will probably be our smallest denomination coin and then they will stop the paper dollar. Next up would be to make the quarter out of plastic.
Then that means...I can fly! Way cool!
How many rediculous $1 coins does this make ?
“Then that means...I can fly! Way cool!”
LOL Only if YOU are Neo!
nah. There have been many coins minted without it.
Agreed. Wanna do something, get rid of the penny.
Free your mind.
In the entire series produced “IN GOD WE TRUST” appears on the rim, on the 9th through 20th it also appears on the face of the coin, probably because of complaints of those who couldn’t find it on the rim. I’ll give $5.00 each for any of these series found Not to have “IN GOD WE TRUST” on the face or rim.
When the Presidential dollars came out I heard many comments it was the first US coin to have “IN GOD WE TRUST” or any writing on the rim, but the early half dollars had “In God WE TRUST” on the rim, it was replaced with a reeded edge in 1836 and “IN GOD WE TRUST” was placed on the face of the coin. I have several of the early half dollars.
A friend of mine from years back put it a bit more crudely, to wit: Americans will not revolt as long as they have a full stomach and empty balls.
I have said for years, the only way the coin will work is if the paper “ONE” is discarded. Print more $2 bills, eliminate pennies (round up or down). (makes room in the cash drawer for the $1 coin. $2 bills go where the ones used to be.
Problem solved!
The new dollar coin does not have the inscription In God We Trust ...
In one sense, you're wrong ... it's found all over the top side.
In another sense, you're right ... turns out the specie is a completely useless blank ... a slug, if you will ... just like the worthless ass depicted on its face!
Have you looked at the edge of the coin???
