There is a new street art poster thats being emailed around and will no doubt eventually be spotted on a street corner near you. Its a gritty black and white image of Andrew Breitbart looking both battle-worn and ever vigilant with the caption: BREITBART IS HERE.
Those three words express the instant connection many of us feel for our fallen friend. They express our identification with him, and our need to continue his fight for the good of our republic.
With the death of Breitbart, the conservative movement didnt just lose a General we lost an entire Special Forces Division. But he didnt leave us without the tools and the knowledge we need to fight. This website Breitbart 2.0 is the culmination of his study of the technology and aesthetics of new media. The team Breitbart assembled under the leadership of Steve Bannon, Larry Solov, and Joel Pollak will advance his mission with courage and integrity.
Breitbarts most immediate mission was the belated vetting of Barack Obama. This obviously is an issue very near and dear to my heart.
During the 08 campaign, the same media that reported breathlessly about an old used tanning bed I purchased to get some sun during the dark Alaskan winter, couldnt be bothered to investigate Barack Obamas associations, statements or even his voting record as a state senator. Suntans and what I wore on the campaign trail were more important than Obamas political background. Unbelievable.
But when you come to think of it, the media didnt investigate either of our actual political records very closely.
Barack Obama and I both served in political office in states with a serious corruption problem.

Crescendos are natural, inevitable: witness birds, cicadas, crickets singing in pure concerto when the time is right for them to do so.
We’ll sing and vote with the same tsunami voice as 2010 when appropriate. We are not manufactured ACORN voters who jump when the electrodes are applied.
Slow and easy does it.
FUBO
“BREITBART LIVES!”
“Hey Lefties. FEAR BREITBART’S REVENGE”
Great tagline, exit82...
I was fortunate enough to meet Breitbart about a year ago and have a brief conversation with him. He was incredibly warm and gracious. Upon learning of his death, I resolved to never again sit silently when my liberal friends spew their vile and contemptible hatred for those with differing opinions. That includes the stupid Republican-bashing Facebook statuses that are so prevalent among my acquaintances. I shall never again let those go by without comment from me.
That t-shirt would be a lot better if it simply said, “War”.
Excerpt:
He was a genius at new media, but his real gift was that he was fearless at a time when too many people are afraid and are retreating. Courage inspires courage. Fearlessness emboldens others to follow your lead.
Lately conservatives are picking up the mantle from Breitbarts absence on the air and in places like Twitter. Watch for tweet jousts with liberal outlets like the weird and creepy Media Matters and re-tweets of leftwing hate using the Twitter hashtag #IAmAndrewBreitbart as the battle cry.
Soon well see others imitating Breitbarts gift for disbanding leftwing protests by simply asking the rent-a-mob, Hey, what are you protesting?

Oh, yeah. Brietbart is HERE!
Great article by Sarah.
Two like-minded, brave individuals.
Both have my utmost admiration.
Thank you, nutmeg.
Not was, is.
Where did you get your Breitbart Is Here t-shirts?
It’s also why I changed my tagline...
It is what many here probably want to tell their liberal friends and relatives, but as Glenn says we must go forward with love. I got to tell ya, I ain't feeling' going forward with this love crap. I am watching my country turn into a Socialist Cesspool before my eyes and I am supposed to be loving? I am supposed to "take it" while so many end up being the hand maidens of the demise of their and out liberty and they don't even realize they are complicit?
No Andrew was right, to the left and all their hand maidens...._ _ _ _ _ _ _ ....
I felt that way too, and the only thing I can think is that Palin might have feared that her endorsement would have done more to hurt him than to help him. Remember, this faux “documentary” was in the works, and she knew it was going to make her look bad, and by extension, this could rub off on Gingrich if she endorsed him formally.
As I posted elsewhere, however, I think the only people who took this seriously were people who already hated Palin.
The real weapon the Establishment has been using in this campaign is ridicule; they ridicule Palin (and they did so in 2008) for her ideas and set up the meme that she’s flighty and not serious, completely ignoring her record of achievement. They - including Romney and particularly Santorum - have ridiculed Gingrich for his ideas and made it sound as if he’s just a nutcase visionary - completely ignoring his proven record of achievement.
The Dems don’t have to do anything but sit back and watch while the GOP Establishment itself destroys the threats to it (Palin and Gingrich) and clears the way for Obama.
Hope you’re printing copies of the jpeg in the piece and putting them up.
Thank you, nutmeg. I like the way yours honors Andrew as well.
Excellent! And for sure, you are not a jelly doughnut ;)
Andrew will have a lasting legacy. And it starts now. We must not forget his example, his exuberance, and his unfailing belief in conservatism in the service of preserving American ideals.
History will record Obama and his ilk as an aberration. We will aid in that effort.
and creepy.
