Consider that Afghans reported both the recent koran burning incident as well as this shooting incident to photographers with their version of what took place :
2/21/2012 Korans desecrated by prisoners (scroll half way down page for the following quote)
". . .Photographs surfaced purporting to show the damaged Qurans. A photographer for Agence France-Presse said Afghans who work inside the airfield told him they obtained the Qurans there. But the U.S. military said that was unlikely.
Then in today's story,
"Villagers showed an Associated Press photographer 15 bodies, including women and children, who they said were killed by the American.
May I suggest the identified photographer in today's story, "Allauddin Khan" as well as the unidentified AFP photographer in the burned korans story have their own agenda and are pushing an oppositional narrative detrimental to US troops. I don't trust any of them to tell the truth and would go so far as to suggest they are collaborating with the enemy.

We need to get the hell out of that hell hole and leave those sixth century morons to live in the depravity they so love. I wouldn’t waste one more life on these inconsiderate bastards. The best way to deal with them is to kill the hell out of them when they attack us. Always make sure the price they pay is enormous.

Get the F out and put these guys on the border. Set up a system of tactical nuke options to deal with any future Taliban operations. Our boys get killed for nothing while the Chinese just laugh, make money and hoard oil and resources. They are playing “Risk” while we are just playing “Chump”.

as usual we don´t have all the details. How do we know the soldier was not under fire himself or threatened by a hord of angry muslims? We know they are a bit hot under the collar after the burning of some book.
The soldier should be commended for fighting the ennemy.
It is his job to preserve us from +islam+ and if it means going on a spree so be it.

How can we explain to the world that the US cannot control it’s own military?

This is a shameful act that diminishes our great nation and anyone who makes light of it is a fool.

Until there is proof that an ACTUAL US soldier committed this act, and he is arrested, I will withhold any condemnation of our troops and the military.

As of now I do not believe a US soldier murdered these civilians.

Something very strange about this report. How does one soldier walk out of a base in Crapganistan?

I have to wonder with the lack of info on this story, lack of the release of information on it... if this is the same instance we have seen in the past when a muslim is involved. Seems to always be the first thing they mention if it were a Christian...believe me, that would be the first word in the story, the headline, etc.

Soldiers are fundamentally human beings who are taught that what they do is more then just a day job,you can’t tell them that it is ok that their buddies got killed by cowards in uniforms and tell them not to do anything offensive towards the Afghan people.

Senior leadership didn’t care about how soldiers felt about these acts perpetrated against them,so at least one soldier eventually snapped and most likely took matters in his own hands.

An act like that is not,of course, going to stop Afghan soldiers or interpreters or anyone else who is supposed to be on our side from killing any more soldiers.

Again however the leadership acted as all soldiers needed was a perp talk on how they shouldn’t let base acts of treachery get in the way of working with the locals, which was horribly stupid......in a situation you buy the soldier’s trust back. You don’t ignore their concerns and tell them to move on.

It’s a tragedy the people our soldiers were sent to liberate, to be savaged by the act of one senseless murderer. There’s no excuse for his actions. The victims families will be marred for the rest of their lives having lost their loved ones. There will be children that will grow up without a Mother or Father or both. Their will be Mothers and Fathers who have to live with the loss of a child. Senseless tragedy. But, I wouldn’t paint every member of the military with the same broad brush. They perform admirably under the most difficult circumstances, it’s amazing there are not more instances like this.
