NEWT: THE DIVINE PLAN OF MERCY FOR OUR NATION? (Vanity)
March 10th , 2012 | God-fear-republican

If Newt wins the nomination, he will be our next President as I can see the Divine Hand in all of these.

Early last year, Newt walked all along on the campaign trail, no followers, no press, no reporters, even no campaign manager, no staff, operated out of his rental car. His campaign manager left him because he paid no attention on fund raising or organization. He believed he could win with his speeches of ideas alone.

Newt still found time to attend Mass to fulfill his obligation on one Monday which was designated as the Day of Obligation while most cradle-Catholics who voted for Obama would not remember what it was! Newt is a convert to Catholicism and the fact he made time to go to Mass on a weekday on the campaign trail spoke volume about him.

I really believe that Newt is a changed man, a repentant sinner, who is very confident that he can restore the beauty of our country and he really believes if he is put into that capacity with his blessed talent and strength, it is God’s plan, God’s doing, not his.

The evil side was afraid of him, so they buried him with 96% of their dirty ads in Iowa, on Newt alone. Santorum worked very hard, almost like with superhuman strength as he walked all over Iowa soil to “almost” win the first republican caucus. (Later, they corrected that Santorum won by 34 votes over Romney when they needed to build him up to replace Newt to face Romney.)

Newt lost New Hampshire to no one’s surprise. The anointed front runner Romney just barely won Iowa, now won New Hampshire, was predicted to shoe in in South Carolina and went on to win the nomination. But SC was the first stop against the liberal force, the dark side. Newt started his southern strategy here and won big, shocking the whole establishment and Romney camp. They would not let it being repeated in Florida. They went all out in all fronts to destroy Newt with false ads, with Drudge Report, with all exaggerated or false recalling form different republican politicians about Newt character and philosophy, about his step-down from Congress. The fault that he committed in Congress was peanut compared to what is going on with ALL politicians especially ones in DC. He spent $50,000 of his campaign chest to fund a political course or study on campus if I remembered correctly. Later this accusation was tossed out by the court as what he did was completely legal. He created so many enemies as he was brilliant but arrogant.

After losing Florida, Newt decided to take a break in campaigning to regroup for Super Tuesday as he ran out of cash and strength. Santorum remain as the lone anti-Romney candidate and with the help of MSM and the liberal dark side, they made him the winner of Iowa caucus. With hard work Santorum went on to win in Missouri, Minnesota, and Colorado. Newt had become a distant memory. The enemies planned this out because they wanted to divide the Republican Party and to put Newt away for good while he withdrew from campaigning. That was a mistake on Newt part but it turned out to be destined as Santorum was needed to stop Romney while Newt regrouped. Santorum emergence was necessary so that the conservative republicans who were undecided about Newt could have an outlet instead of most or half went to Romney. Santorum is needed to take a big chunk of delegates from Romney. Newt could not stop Romney alone; he needed Santorum whether or not he liked it or knew so or not. And this is still true today. We need both to siphon enough delegates from Romney to prevent him from reaching the threshold of 1,144 delegates for the nomination.

Now Newt focuses on Alabama and Miss, then Texas to win all southern states convincingly, as he did in Georgia. And he will win some Eastern states which are more independent-minded after April 1st. Romney cannot afford to lose any of these states which allocate their delegates by winner-take-all basis.

At the end, Romney will not have 1,144 delegates and we will come to the brokered convention which will provide the format, the forum that Newt loves dear. There will be no more untrue ads, no more campaigning; the MSM will be forced to cover Newt’s speeches and ideas, giving him full national exposure. This forum will also expose the insincerity and flip-flop of Romney, will reveal that Santorum is deserved to be Newt’s under-study for now. He might be a great leader some day but not now.

Now is Newt’s time. Newt will bring them up to their feet at the convention with standing ovations and hopes.

Newt is our last hope!

“But which man does he agree with and support?”

God supports us. That is why, even thought I want Newt, I always pray for His Light to be shown on the TRUTH. That way we all win.

Faith is not of reason or rationalism; actually rationalism is the cause of faith downfall, therefore, God hates rationalism.” Blessed be those who believe but do not see,” the Lord says. Signs were not given to those who do not believe. And “My way is not your way.”

Creatures with human limited mind will not be able comprehend his Divine Plan and mysteries, so some time there is no point to argue about it. But I do compliment you for your sincere search and effort. Keep up the good work as I believe some day you will find your answer as I did many years ago. I was born into the family of no religion and now I am the only Catholic in my father’s house.

I like to answer other questions by saying there is Divine Will and there is free will (of man.) God has his own design that all men to do good and to be saved but He gives each one of us free will to obey Him to do good or to do evil dictated by our own carnal desires.

When we do evil, He allows us to follow evil and reap the consequence. But to a point, when He deems it is enough based on His justice and for the sake of His remnants, He will put away all evil doers.

I hopefully believe that time has finally arrived and Satan will be minimized and bound for a period of time, but I am also dreadful of His cleansing as it will be awesome and painful.

But trust in God and do not fear.

Thanks.

I hope you don’t get bored of me talking about God and religion. I will love to discuss any religious or spiritual topics with anyone who wants to listen, so long as I sense the sincerity and hunger for the truth, not for the sake of arguing, even in this forum of political activists.

I have to leave now to tend to my family but will check back.

He allows good Kings and evil Kings...no one can see the whole picture..why he would put an incompetent man like Obama into a seat of power is beyond my understanding... guess we will all find out when the whole scenario unfolds. I believe God is on the side of justice and what is right according to His own laws..no man is perfect...no man can follow His law perfectly..so he uses those who will help further his plan for this world...

“I will vote for whoever is ahead, Newt or Rick. Will you?

Neither is a saint and this piece is ridiculous at best”
**************
At one point, before Michigan—I would have said yes. I would vote for either in the primary.

I did not and do not want Romeny. I have said stuff about Romney to be ashamed of, but still, I am not. I think the man is a plastic puppet for sale. Same old.

No, I don’t claim Newt a saint. He is flawed and very real. That is part of what I like about him. I don’t want a saint.

Some of the flaws with his family really makes him shine, they aren’t scared of anything and they embrace it all. That is a STRONG family and it doesn’t take a photo to show.

Check this out... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgL6qJMK0YA&feature=share

Santorum has become a nasty little jerk. I wouldn’t vote for him now if someone broke my fingers.

If Gingrich drops, I am done with the primary (may 29th for me, if gov’t allows). I will vote against Obama in Nov and I don’t care who the nominee is. After this— I will be done forever more with the GOP.

Sorry but Santorum has been nasty, and I can take that... he has done it in very chicken-chit, nasty, lawyer way. He can eat chit and die before I ever vote for him.

If Rick Santorum wants to keep playing ugly lawyer games ““I don’t sit on a couch with any other woman; I sit on a couch with my wife,”

I will make it my mission in life—without bounds— to destroy that little sawed off jerk.

Don’t you pretend that is innocent because you are a supporter.

That is crap and he deserves every body-blow headed his way!

Remember a Vote for Newt is a Vote For Romney!
A Vote for Romney is a Vote for Obama!

A vote for Newt is my Constitutional right to vote for my own choice and the most Conservative candidate running that can and will take obama to the woodshed. Any other such garbage is pure tripe.

“This is between him and the big guy, only Newt and the big guy know this to be true.”

Of course only God is judge of Newt’s soul.

But, it is not the same as saying we want to know if he is sincerely converted or just pretending to win an election. We are not judging his soul, but his sincerity.

Just because some guy says God words and repeats the right stuff doesn’t mean that we are obliged to believe him.

He could be fooling us into thinking he has repented.

We do want a president who recognizes that being faithful to your wife is required of a person of high character. So, someone seeking leaders who has been guilty of infidelity in the past must show evidence of repentance.

Looking at Newt’s behavior and he confession of faith, I think that we can trust him as sincere.

I am 100 percent behind him.

They called Winston Churchill a gloriously flawed leader.

I have come a long way since I first joined this forum. At that time I believed in God, but I was passionate for conservatism. Since then I have come to Christ and my heart is with my Saviour. He reveals himself to me when I am obedient. This I have seen in the way that only those who seek the Father through the Son can understand.

I like to clarify that reason serves faith, although I don’t deny the concept underlying my forum name. Jesus used evidence and the reason of man to bring them to Him, as we see in John 11:41-44 (and in many other verses of Scripture).

“So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, ‘Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.’ When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, ‘Lazarus, come out!’ The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.”

You realise that when I ask questions like this, I am asking what people think is why God does these things, not God Himself. Is it correct to assume that your answer is the same as Pascals’?

Since God and His will is capable of things that are not even reasonable to us, I don’t believe that the God of the Bible either exists or not. I believe that the God of every individual He created exists, whether Christian, Jewish, Muslim, American Indian, Hindu, etc. I think God put Himself in each of us as He desired.

Thanks for the response.

Of course, the faith of the Holy Spirit in our hearts comes before any knowledge or reason of man. This you know, and I thank you for reminding me.

“I don’t believe that the God of the Bible either exists or not. I believe that the God of every individual He created exists, whether Christian, Jewish, Muslim, American Indian, Hindu”

But this is relativism, and relativism is self-defeating.

Here’s a way to think of it: The God you imagine who “put Himself in each of us” exists outside of us, as you describe Him.

God exists externally as a sovereign being who can put whatever He wants into us, certainly. But He doesn’t put anything in us other than that which glorifies Him.
