A Rasmussen Reports poll of 750 likely Republican primary voters shows Gingrich ahead with 30 percent support, followed closely by Rick Santorum at 29 percent, and Mitt Romney with 28 percent.

Ron Paul got just 7 percent, while 6 percent were undecided.

In Mississippi, a poll by American Research Group Inc. finds Gingrich in the lead with 35 percent. Romney is in second place with 31 percent, while Santorum has 20 percent and Paul has 7 percent....

Santorum needs to drop-out. He is only hurting the situation now.......for next time, imo.

It was practically foreordained: Mittens would easily win the nomination as two conservatives squabbled over second place. This has happened in many primaries over the years and not just for President.

It’s amazing how many conservatives actually “like”
such persons as Barbara Pierce Bush, for she has nothing but disdain for conservatives.

Palin knows what anyone can know by listening to all three candidates: New is the only one saying anything substantive. Hopefully he and Santorum can keep Mitt from getting a majority.

Fantastic map.

Several points to ponder though...

How does one counter massive amounts of negativism from practically every direction?

How is one able to win “their” state but is unable to win reelection as Governor?

How is one able to win “their” state but is unable to win reelection as Senator?

Inquiring minds want to know...

Here’s a question for you. How can a guy out of office for 12 years still have extremely high negatives across the board nation wide? While head to heads with Obummer show Rick and Milt beating him now, Newt is still well behind. Curious.
