I have been suspicious of Carbonite since I first heard their ads on right-wing talk radio. The main thing that came to my mind was—who is behind Carbonite? I could easily imagine Carbonite being a communist Democrat-run data gathering operation.
What better way to get all the information on the computers of millions of conservatives who oppose the regime than set up this type of operation and advertise profusely on conservative outlets? They probably advertise on leftist programs, too, but what the heck?
Also, ProFlowers was founded by openly homosexual Congressman Jared Polis. FYI. ProFlowers and Shari’s Berries are sister companies.
Didn’t want to post pic because it is rather large:

I cancelled my Carbonite via email.
I tried to call them at 877-665-4466 and all circuits are busy!
I’m demanding a refund.
Thank you for this post. The game, as Shakespeare wrote in Henry IV, is afoot.
Whoa! Doing some research on Carbonite.
Sounds like a piss poor product.

“After 6 months of backups I had a computer failure. The back up from Carbonite worked like magic. Then I had another failure about 3 months later. When I went to restore there was nothing. 2 years of valuable business data vaporized. It turns out that the system was not backing up anything more than some empty files that Carbonite could not explain. For three months the system was backing up nothing and I got no warning. NONE. If you use the system you better double check what is being backed up.”
The only reason this contraception issue was brought up by the Obama administration was to generate an issue to remove another threat to itself...the threat of Rick Santorum becoming a powerful GOP candidate. The Dims also knew that there would be some damage to other conservatives because of this. Santorum is now mortally damaged because of this issue (The way the Media portrayed Santorum’s stance on contraception), and conservative personalities and the Tea Party are grappling with dealing with this issue instead of other more important issues.
I think the Am Spectator site must be getting hammered I can’t get it to open up from any source,
It’s time to start kicking heads in.
Listening to Rush on line now...Carbonite just ran an ad.
And now I heard at the top of the hour that she rejected it.
Two questions I’d appreciate some input:
1. Why would anyone take their most private financial, etc information and send it to be archived at a private site, that we know are never really private sites. Administrators will have access to your personal information - Carbonite?
2. Why too do people voluntarily expose their life, friends, politics, timeline, photographs to a company that was intentionally established to market their members lives to other companies - Facebook?
Americans who fought tooth and nail to oppose Government ID cards, are now following the pied pipers of Facebook and their media partners to enthusiastically give up everything and more forever.

You no more need Carbonite to backup and preserve your computer files than you need hamburger to make an apple pie.
Rush's salesmanship ship has convinced an awful lot of people to use the Carbonite system when there are several BETTER backup systems and simpler methods than what Carbonite offers.
Anyone who knows about digital file preservation knows that carbonite is NOT the smartest way to go. Really.
Maybe President Obama should call Carbonite investors to comfort them on their $31,000,000 loss since dropping Rush.
