NEW YORK (AP) - A flower company is the 7th advertiser in recent days to say it is pulling ads from conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh's radio program. ProFlowers says on its Facebook page that it has suspended advertising on Limbaugh's program because his comments about Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke "went beyond political discourse to a personal attack and do not reflect our values as a company."

Mid-90s for me. Off and on - some places I’ve worked, I couldn’t get AM reception inside the building. Others I just didn’t have time to listen.
Rush is the only reason I tried ProFlowers and the only reason I’ve continued to purchase through them despite being disappointed in them as of late.
So I now have zero reason to buy from them.
I hope another online florist will advertise with Rush soon.

I don’t do business with any of these companies. I get sick of Rush reading some sob story from the “Stack Of Stuff” and making a Lifelock ad out of it.
Remember that the left embraced the word “slut” less than a year ago.
Situational ethics.
The left has managed to “weaponize” women. Can’t have Cain, because of women, can’t have Newt, women, can’t have Santorum, women. When the sensitive issues about women break the other way, as in Clinton, then the weapon is not used. To top it all off, they even say terrible and insulting things about Conservative women and get away with it for the most part.
I haven’t listened to him in years, but he needs to fight this. He needs to expose her deceit and false information regarding costs etc.
Here’s a link to the testimony. He needs to go over it with a fine tooth comb with an OB/GYN and tear her apart.
Right. If you have to be reminded that your country is going to hell in a handbasket, then that means you haven't been paying a whole helluva lot of attention.
I'd start with ProFlowers.com. They're the only sponsor who folks like you and I would likely use on special occasions like valentines day, mother's day, Christmas, etc......and like I said in a prior post, they're the ones who are going to suffer the most after the mothers day sales results come in.
Then I would follow the message board on your local radio station that carries Rush. I'm sure there will be requests to have Rush taken off the air so that's why you and I need to become vocal there......
We’ve been listening since shortly after he went national, whenever that was. I heard snippets of this guy who was talking sense, but didn’t know who it was. Then I started hearing people yammering about this “racist, Limbaugh” and I wondered who the heck that was. Lo and behold, it was the guy talking sense. So I found him and started listening seriously to find out if the hysterics were true. And of course, they weren’t.
Then we got into the Clarence Thomas hearings. And I firmly believe that, if Rush hadn’t been on the air, we might not have had one of our best jurists accede to the Supreme Court. Rush got the truth out.
We all have Sleep Number beds which we looked into because of Rush, and we used to buy Snapple on his enthusiastic endorsement.
Having said all that, I’m glad he apologized for the s-word. It was crude and not up to his usual standards. The case he made against the woman was a strong one and I think the foul language underminded the power of what he was saying.
I wonder if any of those advertisers were able to ask those complaining if they actually LISTENED to Rush's show. Too bad Rush listeners didn't contact the companies FIRST, to bolster them, before the manufactured outrage arrived.
I haven't listened to Rush in years, because I started working and don't have access to a radio, but I know how he presents stories. Rush illustrates absurdity by being absurd, so I understood exactly what he was doing when I heard about the comments he made. But as in the Planned Parenthood kerfuffle with the Komen Foundation, I believe the left was sitting on ready for this, knowing that SOME conservative talk show would discuss this woman's testimony, and respond to it.
Since 1990. We were able to listen to it at work.

Fluke, from her own self-description, is just that.
Rush will turn this loss of advertisers to his advantage. He always outsmarts the left.
I don’t use any of these products and have no desire to do so!!!
I have listened to him since he first aired on TV in the early '90s.
