NEW YORK (AP) - A flower company is the 7th advertiser in recent days to say it is pulling ads from conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh's radio program. ProFlowers says on its Facebook page that it has suspended advertising on Limbaugh's program because his comments about Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke "went beyond political discourse to a personal attack and do not reflect our values as a company."

I wonder if any of these companies advertise on Bill Maher’s show or if they pulled their sponsorship after he called Sarah Palin a c*nt.
The advertisers who ratted away from Rush have products that most people can live without....most can be denoted as more "luxury" items or services.
I can't see the maggot-infested Occupy Wall Street-types ordering and paying for ProFlowers......unless they want to eat them.
Keep up the pressure on these companies....have we ever had such an opportunity to have some real FUN?

We need to leave these former sponsors in droves. Cancel their products and services. It's time to show the left that we stand for the First Amendment. And there's a lot more of us than there are of them. They're just more vocal and they have the LSM on their side, promoting them at every turn.
People like you ruin it for everyone else...I hope you're happy. :-)
I know ProFlowers advertises on pretty much all the conservative talk shows, as do many of Rush's other sponsors.....Levin, Hannity, Humphries, etc.
So ProFlowers is not dropping from Rush's show alone.....they'll drop from all of the others too because conservatives will black ball them and rightfully so.
Rusty Humphries is the only talker I can stand to listen to anymore. He is one of the few that has covered Obama’s ineligibility from the get go and is a Newt supporter.
I hope the little guys survive this leftist smear attempt to stifle free speech.
Hi Onyx.
Hope we can get enough calls and mail to get their attention.
((((( Onyx )))))
Not sure exactly when I started listening, but it was back when he was still doing “caller abortions”. The only ex sponsors of his I’ve used have been Snapple, and Pro Flowers. I haven’t used Snapple for years, probably since they left his show. It’s been a year or so since I’ve used Pro Flowers, but I won’t at all anymore.
I just now put my money where my mouth is, and suggest everyone else does too. I just for the first time ever ordered a case of “Two if by Tea” I just wish there was a way to have left a note on the order telling them it was in direct support of Rush against the recent attacks against him.
Thanks for this info.
proflowers better hope liberals send flowers to their mothers wives and girlfriends
there are so many fish in the sea ther is no need to ever use them again for my business
We have listened to him since somewhat before his TV show, which I think started about 1992.
Well,I wasn’t about to buy a Sleep Number bed or get a Quicken Loan, but now I REALLY won’t.
I am very liberal about sharing my opinion of those companies with others too.
I bet he will have plenty to say tomorrow:o)
No testimony, just a staged press conference.
Thanks I forgot about Letterman, I now remember when that incident happened. The Lemmings of the left that I saw kept posting “I support David Letterman” on Facebook.
We see it for what it is, a cheap insult. The Left turns it into the end of the world...and they get away with it.
We can’t play fair with these people.
...or maybe the Letterman support had to do with his sexual affairs.
Too many to think about.
You must remember the first to call for a boycott was the government in the form of congressmen and women using government pulpits against a private citizen.
I have been a Rush listener since 1988, and I’ve seen this before.
I am boycotting the companies that drop him, and I am letting them know why.
Time to make a run on “Two If By Tea” in support of Rush!
From ProFlowers:
“At ProFlowers, our mission is to delight our customers with fresh and long lasting flowers, and that is our singular focus each and every day. We do not base our advertising decisions to align with any particular political view or opinion as our employees and customers are as diverse as the USA. Mr. Limbaugh?s recent comments went beyond political discourse to a personal attack and do not reflect our values as a company. As such, ProFlowers has suspended advertising on The Rush Limbaugh radio program.”
I find it ironic that a company that wouldn’t exist if it not for Rush suddenly finds that his comments “do not reflect our values as a company”. I was dissatisfied with ProFlowers when they started their recent campaign to “give” you a “free” subscription to some stupid service that you had to opt out of when you ordered with a tiny checkbox. Now, they’ve lost me as a customer forever.
