NEW YORK (AP) - A flower company is the 7th advertiser in recent days to say it is pulling ads from conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh's radio program. ProFlowers says on its Facebook page that it has suspended advertising on Limbaugh's program because his comments about Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke "went beyond political discourse to a personal attack and do not reflect our values as a company."

Our local AM station has an FM programming counterpart. Call your local station to see if they have the same.
I needed Legalzoom for Copyright on my plays. I just wrote them and informed the company that I’d tired of the selective outrage of the left and the advertisors who kneeled to their pressure. And then I informed them that I’d take my business elswhere. Did the same with the other advertisors pulling from Rush’s show.
I think a united Right can be just as effective as the left in any battle. We stand together as one voice and the left cannot topple us.
I ordered from Pro-Flowers a few years ago; ordered for my Mom’s birthday a MONTH in advance.
The flowers showed up late, had been frozen, turned brown and wilted as soon as they thawed.
Never again did I ever order from Pro-Flowers.
Been listening to Rush since he hit WABC in 1988. For the first year or two (or three?) his show was local only. I actually got through once. When he finished his local show, his nationally syndicated show started, but not on WABC. No one here believed that a nationally syndicated radio show would do well in the NY market.
Well... it did, and does.
Not long enough . . . since 1988.
But my suggestion is that we must not only boycott the businesses involved and send mass emails to our conservative contact list to do the same, but we must boycott ALL the articles that are being published about this matter. Don’t even bother commenting. Let the libtards rage all to themselves. They ignore our issues, we must ignore THEIR ISSUES. Stop linking, posting comments, opinionating, on obumbum’s diversionary tactics.
We must stick to the real issues, the ones the agitator-in-chief doesn’t want to talk about.
Thank you very much.
Hot damn!
Got to get started.
Go Rush!
1993/94
This is an organized, concerted effort to damage Rush badly & force him off the air. It won’t work. Kim Kommando came out with a really classy statement regarding attempts to get her to participate & put pressure on her advertisers who advertise on Rush. Her comments show to what extent this is a very serious attack on Rush.
Thanks! WRKO once carried his program, but they dropped him. Now, my only option is “Rush Radio” http://www.rushradio1200.com/main.html
I can listen to him online, but I prefer to listen while I’m working or gardening, and the signal to this area is very weak.
I’ve been listening to Rush for about 10 years now. The last 6 as a Rush 24/7 subscriber. The only time I hear any of the ads is when I’m listening to him in my car.
This is the email I have sent so far to Citrix, ProFlowers and QuickenLoans:
You just potentially lost millions of customers for pulling your ads from Rush Limbaugh. But I have to also say thanks, for exposing who you really are.
Since you are offended enough to pull your advertising, I suppose you could answer the following questions:
- Is Citrix a supporter of taxpayer funded abortion?
- Is Citrix concerned about religious freedom?
- Is Citrix a supporter of taxpayer funded contraception?
- Is Citrix submitting to the demands of the Left?
To show my support of Mr. Limbaugh, I will never use your products or services.
ProFlowers may not be Congress, but they likely have and do supply flowers to the Obama White House and have taken federal funds in order to do so.
And now, after taking money from the Obama Regime, ProFlowers is working to deny the First Amendment rights of Rush Limbaugh.
Contact numbers?
That’s what we need. Someone to take it to them. Break the frame of the interview. Challenge them at every turn.
Thanks I hit all there FB pages to comment.
Dear ProFlowers,
I became a regular ProFlowers customer when I first heard your ads on Rush Limbaughs show a few years ago. I, like the other 20 million weekly listeners to his show value what he says, and what he recommends. Im not sure how much business Rush has brought your company, but Ill guess its substantial. This being the case, I was beyond disappointed that ProFlowers decided to be politically correct and drop their sponsorship to Rushs show simply because Rush expressed a valid opinion about this fraud Ms. Fluke.
Just as you have made a decision that will impact Mr. Limbaugh, many more of us are also making a decision that will indeed impact you. I purchased flowers from you this past Valentines Day; this will indeed be my LAST purchase from ProFlowers. Im certainly not alone in my disgust for the gutless, politically motivated decision you have made to drop sponsorship of Rushs show. You might want to take a look around the blogosphere this day; outrage at your decision will have the opposite effect you had intended. Do you really think that dropping sponsorship to Rushs show in such a politically motivated way will not have financial consequences for your business.
Im ashamed to say that was a ProFlowers customer!
Former Customer,
