Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit points to a story at Tax Prof Blog about Northeastern University's decision to bar the fast-food chain Chick-fil-A from that fine institution's campus.
Why the exclusion? On the basis of some of its charitable giving, Chick-fil-A is considered to be anti-gay by the gay rights group Equality Matters. Among the groups that raise ire are outfits such as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Focus on the Family, The Family Resource Council, and Exodus International. Certainly some of these groups talk often about pushing back on what they consider "the homosexual agenda" that has continued to spread like chlymidia despite the cancellation of Will & Grace some years ago. Exodus International is a leading "pray away the gay" outfit.

FROM URBAN DICTIONARY
Chicken Power
A way to apologize to someone you didnt know you were going to hurt with your actions
“I gave a Chicken Power to them after what I did last night”

“nobody would buy Domino’s pizza because it supposedly refused to include fetuses among its toppings”
Huh? ‘Splain, please....
BTW, I knew Nick Gillespie would write gutter and get smarmy sarcastic. Not sure why he’d do it in a public publication like “Reason”, but that’s 1 action I could judge by his dress and demeanor on Stossel.
Gays can eat there any time they like. They are anti beef.
They are not Mormons, they are Baptists. I went to school with Dan Cathy. He was a heck of a nice guy and strong as an ox at 16.
So, in other words, when the butt pirates go to eat there they go as homosexuals with their preferences stamped on theur foreheads, or do they go there to get a fricking sandwich to eat.
Maybe this establishment doesn’t like men hanging around their bathrooms or slobbering all over eachother in the booths. It is clear these jackasses can’t go anywhere without their sexual preference going before them. This restaurant should move. Better clientel elsewhere.
Funny, a classmate from high school worked at Chik-fil-A all through high school. I liked him, we were both Boy Scouts, he like Ronald Reagan, and wanted to go into the military.
Now, he is a lawyer, specializing in gay activism...and his Facebook page is cluttered with photos of him and his ‘partner’.
I just chuckle to think that he once worked for Chik-fil-A...and now he’s gay.
Yes, but their service is SUPERB. They are the fastest by far. They are nice, and correct, and fast. We have long lines EVERY lunch at our CFAs, but you can be out of there in 10 min. Meanwhile, ANY other “fast” food with that line will be a half hour. And screw you up.
You are right. I am sure I have read that he is a member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta.
Sorry, I thought I remembered reading long ago that they were Mormon. I thought it interesting given they were from the South, but we have Mormons here, too.
Are gays anti-Christian? If so, should they even bother eating at Chik Fil A?
The Left’s spin on C-f-A: anti-gay.
The Right’s spin on C-f-A: pro-Christian.
I’ll have a Chik-fil-A sandwich, thank you very much.
“Don’t let the bastards rule the language.”

THIS.
“I am SICK and TIRED of the Gays demanding we accept their perverted lifestyle”
I’m S&T, too, but actually I DO “accept” and certainly “tolerate” it. I’ve done nothing to deserve the vitriol of these people.
However, I DON’T like them publicly going on about their antics (”Gay PRIDE”? Parades? Am I proud to be hetero? It just IS!), telling kids all about it, and griping about a “right” that doesn’t exist for anyone. I’m sick of them making an issue of something very personal and private, not just in the legislature, but in SCHOOLS, about something I never peeped about.
I’m not a fan of white meat processed chicken.
Thank you, I was just going to point that out.
There use to be a website www.buyblue.org that was a tremendous help for conservatives even though it was put up for libs. Unfortunately, the site has been inactive for several years now. I loved going there to note what companies they supported so I would do the opposite.
Another reason not eat chicken. LOL
