Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit points to a story at Tax Prof Blog about Northeastern University's decision to bar the fast-food chain Chick-fil-A from that fine institution's campus.
Why the exclusion? On the basis of some of its charitable giving, Chick-fil-A is considered to be anti-gay by the gay rights group Equality Matters. Among the groups that raise ire are outfits such as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Focus on the Family, The Family Resource Council, and Exodus International. Certainly some of these groups talk often about pushing back on what they consider "the homosexual agenda" that has continued to spread like chlymidia despite the cancellation of Will & Grace some years ago. Exodus International is a leading "pray away the gay" outfit.

Columbia and environs are very nice, and very convenient to Ft Meade. Howard County isn’t as whacko as Montgomery County....
They closed 100 stores, but according to Wikipedia, they’re coming out of their slump. For a while it seemed that they were on the way out, but apparently they made some good decisions and are now on the upturn.
In general, I’m glad to be on the Northside. But I do envy you guys having the special CFAs like that. I’m well-familiar with the Dwarf Houses, but I didn’t know about Truett’s Grill. Looks like a CFA with a slightly expanded lunch/dinner menu and a greatly expanded breakfast menu.

Lets get a list of the companies which are pro turd pushing on here and other places, inform the public who are their proud sponsors and local businesses and we’ll boycott them.
Two can play this game if they like, because I’m sick and tired of the companies like homo depot giving money to this group and saying they’re proud sponsors but then they don’;t inform the public who they are proud sponsors to.

Academically it was a very good school and if you knew my parents you would realize being away from them was no hardship. When I was there it had just reinvented itself from Georgia Military Academy to Woodward Academy. All the teachers and staff still had military titles and many of them seemed ignorant of the change. My roommates family had a house in East Point and I spent as many weekends there as I could.
