Four sponsors have severed ties with Rush Limbaugh’s radio show after the outspoken host called law student Sandra Fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute.”
National advertisers LegalZoom, Quicken Loans and Sleep Number along with West Coast ad buyer The Sleep Train announced this week they were pulling all advertisements.
“We don’t condone negative comments directed toward any group. In response, we are currently pulling our ads from Rush with Rush Limbaugh,” Sleep Train wrote on Twitter.
Sandra Fluke, a Georgetown Law Student, was thrust into the spotlight this week after Limbaugh called her a “slut” for her stance on a new insurance mandate that requires employers to cover the cost of contraception.
“What does it say about the college co-ed Sandra Fluke, who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex, what does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute,” Limbaugh said Wednesday.
The radio host’s comments caused customers to lobby advertisers to pull their money from the show or risk losing business.
The California-based Sleep Train has enjoyed a relationship with Limbaugh since it opened its first store in 1985.

Right!! If all conservatives who listen to and appreciate Rush Limbaugh will SAY and DO the same thing, perhaps the advertisers will realize not all of their customers are liberal democrats.

Let’s see: Rush calls a LAW student who demands that OTHER PEOPLE PAY for her to avoid the consequences of her OVERACTIVE SEX LIFE a slut/prostitute and a company of LAWYERS, a company that LOANS MONEY, and two MATTRESS companies distance themselves from him in favor of the girl.
Sounds like she could be a spokesperson for all of them.

LegalZoom is run by whatisname Shapiro the slime lawyer who helped get OJ off, I think - it never seemed like a good fit for Rush anyhow - and the fact that they were able to get so much pressure put on the advertisers so quickly is more testimony to how well the left use social media to organize and react to the issues they’re invested in - liberal flashmobs smashing and burning - instead of bemoaning the fact, it’s time for conservatives to organize their own social networks to react to the likes of Maddow, Schultz and any others who transgress.......
Is that letter at your link REAL? It's so sickening it's hard to believe it. They call Fluke "courageous" and "well intentioned." Oh my God, the lies from the Left these SOBs buy into! I'm furious. I don't use Carbonite, but I will contact them and take any and every opportunity in the months ahead to trash them. This is beyond Orwellian. Time to treat them like they treat us.
That name keeps coming to mind. It's like a battle call.
It sure needs to be a battle cry!!!! Hope a million more people pick up where Andrew left off. If we are to save America, it needs to happen!
