The country knows Sandra Fluke as the beleaguered third-year Georgetown University Law Center student who has been criticized by conservatives — notably radio giant Rush Limbaugh — for her recent testimony about co-eds’ contraceptive needs before Congressional Democrats.
But the 30-year-old student who stirred the debate is no novice to the political arena. Fluke has a long history of feminist advocacy: The Washington Post reported Fluke entered Georgetown Law well aware that the school’s insurance plan did not cover contraception, only to spend the next three years lobbying the school to change its policy.

She has been put out in the public forum on this issue because there could well be another shoe to drop. When push comes to shove, what is the over/under on her playing on the same sex team? Her particular need for birth control pills is so far beyond the point (condoms are available at low/no cost) that there HAS to be something else going on here. Her sexual practice are a red herring by Team Obama to distract from the actual disaster of Obama’s policies.

At first blush people saw a poor college student struggling to make ends meet and needed a little help with some Contraception because everyone knows college kids party and have sex. Now they see a 30 year old career student that stays in school to protest and wants the world to accept her Liberal radicalism.
