Sandra Fluke What's her background?
Posted on 03/02/2012 11:14:49 AM PST by airedale
There has been 0 reporting on the background of Sandra Fluke. What's her background? Who are her parents? What do they do? Georgetown is about $70k for tuition per year without scholarship + room and board, books etc. Even with a scholarship it's still a ton of $$$. Is she financing her law school or are her parents or her trust fund paying for it? Droms are about $20k per year so where she living? At home?
The only pictures I've seen of her from the hearings where she's wearing a suit. What's she normally wear? Inexpensive clothing or pricy duds?
Is she really financially so strapped she can't afford birth control or is that a lie?

Jamie Wearing Fools has a profile.
She’s 30 not 23.
She enrolled at Georgetown explicitly to go after contraception coverage.
She’s a lefty.
She’s a slut.

I don't know anything about her background, but she has made it clear that her back is on the ground a lot...

DNC mole.
Given her statement and the term’s definition in every English language dictionary, RUSH is accurate in calling her a slut.
That’s why she will not sue RUSH.

Rush’s classic line today: Women who are smart enough to go to Georgetown law school should be able to pull themselves up by their bra straps.
Supposedly, one of his major sponsors has pulled their ads from his show. Which company was it? An immediate boycott is in order against a company that wants conservatives to pay for the irresponsible sexual activity of liberals.

She could pay all of her bills if she just charged her “boyfriends” just half of what one of the local pros charge.
On the other hand, maybe all of this sex is the result of “buying” her grades from the law school professors.

If she’s worried about the cost of contraceptives maybe she should stick with oral sex, no risk of pregnancy there...Oh, that’s right, oral isn’t considered sex and that’s straight from our ex-pres. mr. clinton.

I read yesterday — and I am bad on details/ sources — that when she decided on Georgetown, 3 years ago, she specifically researched their health insurance to see if it provided for birth control. She was horrified that it didn’t, has been fighting with them ever since to demand it. I don’t know her connection to Pelosi et al., but I suspect it goes back a ways.
I see her as — a 3rd year law student who is looking to make a niche for herself as, what? A Feminist Crusader Lawyer? A liberal lawyer in DC. Might be getting money for doing this....
If i were her dad, I’d be livid and deeply ashamed that my daughter was (1) telling the world that she slept with just anyone and (2) that she was demanding that OTHER people pay for her promiscuity. How about the ‘special’ men she’s sleeping with? I would think they’d be feeling used and discarded....?
Skank for hire.

I don't think there should be a witch-hunt out for her. She has embarrassed herself and tarnished her own name.

Sandra Flukes professional background in domestic violence and human trafficking began with Sanctuary for Families in New York City. There, she launched the agencys pilot Program Evaluation Initiative. As the 2010 recipient of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles Fran Kandel Public Interest Grant, she researched, wrote, and produced an instructional film on how to apply for a domestic violence restraining order in pro per. She has also interned with the Coalition to Abolish Slavery & Trafficking; Polaris Project; Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County; Break the Cycle; the Domestic Violence Legal Empowerment and Appeals Project; NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund; Crime Victim and Sexual Assault Services; and the Human Services Coalition of Tompkins County.
Through Georgetowns clinic programs, Sandra has proposed legislation based on fact-finding in Kenya regarding child trafficking for domestic work, and has represented victims of domestic violence in protection order cases. Sandra is the Development Editor of the Journal of Gender and the Law, and served as the President of Law Students for Reproductive Justice, and the Vice President of the Womens Legal Alliance. In her first year, she also co-founded a campus committee addressing human trafficking. Cornell University awarded her a B.
