In Memoriam: Andrew Breitbart (1969-2012)

Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.

We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.

Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.

Andrew recently wrote a new conclusion to his book, Righteous Indignation:

I love my job. I love fighting for what I believe in. I love having fun while doing it. I love reporting stories that the Complex refuses to report. I love fighting back, I love finding allies, and—famously—I enjoy making enemies.

Three years ago, I was mostly a behind-the-scenes guy who linked to stuff on a very popular website. I always wondered what it would be like to enter the public realm to fight for what I believe in. I’ve lost friends, perhaps dozens. But I’ve gained hundreds, thousands—who knows?—of allies. At the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I sleep very well at night.

Prayers for his family. If there was foul play involved the families best protection is to release anything Andrew may have been holding. Release it all. Just finished watching his Cpac speech. He would probably agree.

I wonder how thick cloth has to be to repel those darts. Anybody know? Seems like somebody would have to know where you were at, maybe follow you with a cooler to keep the poison frozen until you were outside and in range. I wonder what the range is.

I wonder if the cancer-causing stuff has to be frozen, and if one injection does the job. I also wonder if there’s a particular form of cancer that they favor. Probably something that is typically fast-acting and has no obvious presenting symptoms that would clue the person in to get tested and treated. Something like ovarian cancer, for women. What’s similar for men?

Also makes me wonder if the same technology could be used to get a manufactured bio-warfare germ into the public - make it look like it came from a mosquito maybe...

Breitbart was a good man and a good warrior. We should count ourselves blessed if we fight half as hard as that man. He died so young! But God’s will be done, in Earth as it is in heaven. It was his time to return home. Now we must pick up that flag and fight the good fight.

They are just projecting what they are. They deserve our prayers and pity.

NOOooooo. Devastated. I hope to someday fight for the right as powerfully as he did. I hope he was a Christian. I pray for his family. I don’t know if he could be matched or replaced, this is a huge blow to the cause. I pray at least 1 out of the 4 or his wife takes up the mantle.

To say that I am stunned doesn’t even begin to cover what I’m feeling right now. When I heard it this morning I thought for sure it was a lie, I thought maybe some left wing freak hacked his site, but then I heard on Fox News that he had passed away late last night, I am still in shock. Andrew had tweeted last night just like he always did. He was such a wonderful man, I will never forget him and that he did for the Conservative movement.

I am very suspicious of this - he apparently had some very damning footage of the big Zero.

As for the heart attack - if I were in ‘team’ that was going to “silence him for the good of county” </sarcasm> I would look at any preconditions the mark had and then exploit it.

I am very sad over this! He was the great crusader for the cause. He was our counter voice! RIP Andrew we will miss you. Our prayers are with your family in their time of grief!
