I believe this next election is all about the preservation of the 2nd Amendment, a Conservative Supreme Court that will protect that precious amendment and our National Security!
This is a brilliant speech by former Speaker Newt Gingrich and is worth everyone’s time to listen to it. If nothing else, Americans should know the great sacrifice that was made by General Washington and 2500 freezing and starving Patriots who suffered immensely and fought bravely to ensure our freedom and our right to defend ourselves:

Further, I applaud Newt Gingrich for speaking out, before any other candidate, regarding the murder of our Soldiers in Afghanistan. This is not a weak man waiting to get a feel for what to say. Newt came out boldly in support of our Soldiers and against this traitor in the White House and his apologists administration. That's called leadership!

“And furthermore, I am really deeply offended, I think, on behalf of the families and on behalf of the American people that Americans get killed by an Afghan soldier, we — President Obama doesn't seem to hold Karzai responsible for that. There doesn't seem to be any request for an apology from Karzai.”
Those of you who know me and visit my website, The Band Of Mothers, know that my biggest concern is national security. I am sick and tired of fighting terrorists under a policy of appeasement! I look at the candidates running from the perspective of the terrorists, and I ask myself which of these 4 men worries the butchers the most, and the answer every time is Newt Gingirich.
I believe in peace through strength! I will support whoever the candidate is because anyone is better than this spineless Muslim appeaser occupying our White House now, but I'm tired of weakness and I hope Newt Gingrich is the candidate facing Obama in November!

This speach was one of the best I’ve ever heard. The sacrifice those men made marching along without shoes leaving blood trails has to bring tears to any patriots eyes. Americans have to ask themselves, “Am I worthy of the sacrifices they made?” When I look at the 99% Wall Street (or whatever) protesters I get ill.

It is an outstanding speech and I’ve forwarded to my email distro. I would love to be in one of Newt’s classes. What a command of history and what a command of the facts and bring the past right into the present and understand what those sacrifices mean in today’s world. This is a man who is seasoned, knowledgeable and fearless. I’m still with Newt.
Since the beginning of the debate cycle, Newt has been my choice for POTUS. That remains the case.

Thank you for the ping, though I’ve already decided on Santorum. With high negatives, I cannot picture Gingrich pulling it out of the tail spin now. He could surprise me. I doubt, however, that there are enough people on your ping list to double what he is polling and get him into a tie for second.
I certainly will support whomever wins our Republican nomination to run against Obama. Just feel Newt Gingrich is the conservative we need to defeat Obama.
