When New Mexico governor Susana Martinez articulated her stance against gay marriage ("Domestic partnership is just another word for gay marriage, and I do not support [either]," she said during her election campaign), she might have anticipated political protest -- but she probably wasn't expecting her hairstylist to wage a one-man war against her hair.
Antonio Darden, who runs Antonio's Hair Studio in Santa Fe, had previously cut the governor's hair three times, but says he refuses to do it again until she reconsiders her position. "I think it's just equality, dignity for everyone," Darden told KOB news. "My partner and I have been together for 15 years."

Would not someone angry with me to be near me with scissors that much anyway.
There are LOTS of hair stylists in the world...
Oh horrors...whatever shall the governor do?
Sorry gays, I used to be on your side.
You’ve blown it.....(euuuuuuuuuuuu), couldn’t help it.
WOW. Since gay’s are suing people who own churches and cake stores and other places for saying no to gay marriages, then why can’t a person turn around and sue a business who’s gay employee or owner refuses to do business with them?
Seems that they set this up with their actions to do the same back.
“I think it’s just equality, dignity for everyone,” Darden told KOB news. “My partner and I have been together for 15 years.”
Being partners in perversion has nothing to do with equality and surely nothing to do with dignity......
A gay hair stylist?....who woulda thunk it?.........
Fine. I think everyone has a perfect right to refuse to provide their service if they disagree that strongly with someone’s politics. (Catholic Bishops, please take note the next time Kathleen Sebelius or Senator Kerry present themselves for Communion).
running his contaminated hands through a decent person’s hair — Love it.
And PGR88, why did you have to post that? Just the thought makes me ill.
May he(she) cut him(her)self on a dull razor.
“I think it’s just equality, dignity for everyone,”
There is no dignity in gay sex.
Coulda been a male governor with a gay barber and a razor.
If the guy believes this, he’s just a tool.
The real goal isn’t to legitimize gay “marriage”,
but to delegitimize the whole concept of marriage.
That racist, misogynist scumbag. He should do about five years in the big house for that hate crime.
I'd put him in a cell with Bubbah so he'd get.......no, wait,...I'd put him in a cell out of reach of Bubbah....
liberal hollywood has refused or removed conservatives from their work environment for a long time
of course, for some reason conservatives haven’t done the same
personally, I won’t hire a liberal if I’m aware of it in the interview. if I figure it out later, I will try to move the to smaller, less significant, projects if possible
How can a man who packs fudge with another man speak of 'dignity' with any credibility?
