This morning Glen Beck was discussing "what is a Christian" and used the full title of the LDS Church as proof they are Christians, not some whacked out cult based on a modern day "prophet".
He also spoke of how Soros thinks of himself as a god.
As a disclaimer, every member of that church that I've ever met was a clean living, humble and generous person...but that doesn't make them Christians.
Well actually, I am under the impression that their history and doctrine insists that they are not Christian.
No, I always avoid the religion threads.
Actually, I'm sick to death of Beck O'Reilly.
If you had read my posts vs. just viscerally reacting to information you disagree with, you would have noticed that I announced myself as an EX-mormon in my first post on this thread.
Also, if you have issue with the material I posted, by claiming it’s a lie and then stating in no uncertain terms that I’m the liar, I’d appreciate rebuttal information that proves your case.
I posted the source of the information and, given the time I can also provide many other sources that prove the points brought out in that piece. Won’t you try it in support of your allegations?
Otherwise, shouldn’t you view bearing false witness against someone for simply posting factual information shameful?

MORMONism is built on BELIEVEING the things that Joseph Smith claimed to be true.
MORMONism is built on BELIEVEING the FEELINGS one gets when asking if the Book of MORMON is 'true' or not.
If there is ANYTHING more substantial than this, I'm SURE that KitCat or one of our other MORMONs posting here can elaborate.

I happen to be a devout Catholic, I am sick to death of people on this
site bashing the Mormon faith. I have had many friends who are Mormon
and have found them to be VERY giving, and EXTREMELY committed
to family. One’s choice of faith should NEVER be bashed constantly as
is done on this site, as long as one’s faith does not teach hatred. I am
NOT a Romney gal either, I personally can not stand him, but it has
NOTHING to do with his faith!!!!! At least Mormon folks practice faith
who in the HECK are you to condemn which faith they choose!!!!!!

As yet another "life-long Catholic" you apparently are in disagreement with your own chosen relgions stance on MORMONism.

You need to give it a rest, my faith is not the one and only faith!!!! Although it is what I believe, I will NEVER condemn what other folks
have for their faith, as long as it does not teach hatred. True christians
believe in helping others to help themselves, giving to others when
they are in need, NEVER BEING JUDGMENTAL, I would believe
this also comes to the faith of their CHOICE!!!!!!! Some people on this
site need to stop cramming their beliefs down our throats and be thankful
Mormons are living their lives in faith, although it may not be your faith.
This country is has a serious culture meltdown. Continuing your propaganda on different faiths helps nothing!!!!
