An association of gays in the military has more than doubled its membership since last year, is setting up more on-base chapters, and plans to hold its next national conference at a Defense Department resort at Walt Disney World.
The expansion of the group OutServe in the five months since the repeal of the Pentagon’s ban on open gays shows how a steady stream of service members are coming out of the closet and are becoming better organized to achieve demands for more benefits.

Elaine Donnelly, who heads the Center for Military Readiness and worked to keep the ban, said OutServe is showing itself to be divisive.
“OutServe is a gay activist group using provocative tactics to advance their agenda in the military, and to establish themselves as a special interest group pushing self-serving demands,” Mrs. Donnelly said. “Special interest advocacy groups, which are inherently divisive, are not permitted for any other cohort in the military.”
Gay-rights groups have listed a number of post-ban demands, including allowing cross-dressers and transsexuals to serve openly, and providing benefits for the spouses of gays.
The Pentagon said it cannot provide such benefits because of the federal Defense of Marriage Act, which defines marriage as involving one man and one woman.

Nope. The neighborhood's been going for over 40 yrs now.
Few people seem to realize that PC has been filtering and shaping the organization and staffing of various bureaucracies to make them responsive to the Center. (This includes the business world as well as gov’t etc). This thing with gays in the military isn't the beginning of the end, that happened 40 some odd years ago, this is the end. Any one who would refuse to follow “orders” has been sent packing a long long time ago. The predilections of the organization has been set in concrete; Individuals need not apply, and THAT has been the point of PC from the beginning(not 'fairness' as we have been told). Some in the military might balk when the orders that we all know are comeing finally come, but the organization itself WILL execute the orders. They have proved themselves to the Father of Lies as he has demanded they do. My advice to God fearing Individuals: buy ammo.
Gee, who could have seen this coming. Where do they plan to hold their conference, but at the MWR resort at Disney World. I’m sure the staff there will be prohibited from warning other guests that their reservation coincides with this group.

The funny part is that everyone murmured at the same time, it becomes a big noise. Then the base commander said something that “I hear ya” complete with eyes-looking up/sarcastic face included.
You are right about that, Having flaming gays in the military will be poison for unit cohesion and our armed forces.
Plus it will keep out lots of good men who would serve otherwise.
What this country needs is good private sector military training to compete with the PC crowd.
