Former Ariz. Sheriff allegedly threatened to deport secret male lover.

When I did my stint in the off-road world covering landuse issues, I saw the same dissonance. It’s part and parcel of libs.
I really believe it is ‘the’ defining characteristic when it comes down to it. Any subcategory of lib...enviro, homo, anti-war, hippie...can you think of a single one that does not religiously adhere to doublethink? I can’t.
Such is not the thinking of rational minds and so Mike Savage (Though I’m not a fan) nailed it perfectly. Liberalism is a mental disorder.
The libs are hard at work as we speak trying to get people like the average freeper classed as such. The difference is most of us can prove rational thought based on fact. A lib can only spin and quote another lib’s opinion on any given topic.
I think that explains why something like Islam, which one would logically think is antithetical to leftist views, finds a place on the left. But logic isn't the glue that binds them it is their common enemy on the right and common sense itself. It becomes apparent that views in common are not their fundamental measure of acceptance. It's the lust for power and the willingness to defy logic and common sense that allies the sometimes disparate groups that make up the left.
Oddly enough, pederasty is common in most Muslim countries, even though publicly homosexual acts are condemned....
Pretty much sums it up perfectly.
I’ve said this a couple times here in the past, but it applies to this as well. Imagine as a thought experiment 1000 years or 2000 years from now. Assuming there are thinking humans remaining in whatever world it becomes.
Imagine their scientist/psych/anthro guys looking at 1960 to now in a scientific research type manner and trying to explain the world you and I currently inhabit.
I honestly think they would be looking for some airborne contagion or ‘something in the water’ to explain ‘us’ and what ‘we’ as a world now act like, how we govern et all.
They would think something happened to create global insanity.
We kill babies but protect/house/educate murderers
We fly to global warming confrences in remote locations in such numbers the airports cannot land all the aircraft
We drive 4x4 diesels with Sierra Club stickers.
We demand an end to Aids and celebrate the primary vector.
We demand equality and defend Islam
We demand clean energy and create electric cars that require the multiplication of power stations, while cutting off their fuel supply.
We ‘revel in our freedom of speech’ on networks controlled by the state.
A white congressman calls a Black congressman an uncle tom for ‘catering to his white base and that he isn’t really black.
A rapist president is held up as a model of women’s rights promotion.
And on...and on...and...
Maybe they'll find one! Aiyeeeeeeee!!!
We drive 4x4 diesels with Sierra Club stickers.
At least that one is funny.
With God as my witness they do. The first time I saw it was in the Adirondacks of NY some years ago. An Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer with leather seats, 4x4 and a big green Sierra Club sticker on the back bumper.
I’ve seen them on Hummers in Vegas, full-tilt Jeeps in Baja and other places.
My favorite was I once did an article slamming the Vegas chapter of the SC for planning a ‘special permit only from the BLM” camping trip into restricted desert land. Their flyer called for ‘4x4 only’ vehicles.
They had a fit and sicced their lawyers on us. We laughed and followed up with an even more scathing article that told the story of the lawyers’ phone call ;)
I saw at my kids elementary school parking lot last year an old Surburban SUV with an obama sticker on it, and another sticker saying go green vote blue.
I then saw a couple of weeks later a teacher from that school get in this SUV, guess it was her’s.
Seems going blue was missed by this so called educated woman.
Great story, manc. Your children have an excellent role model. (Maybe you should have more children, just saying...)
I’ve told this story before but in 2001 I got to go heads up with Daniel Patterson from the Center for Biological diversity at a Lancaster CA. landuse/BLM meeting. He came to the meeting with to college girls in a lifted Toyota 4x4 with 33 in tires, a winch and all the hardcore off-road goodies.
When I spoke before the SRO crowd I asked him where the school he went to that resulted in his zero impact off-road driving. I told him every off-roader in the room would attend and thus the CBD would no longer have a reason to oppose public use of public land.
He got mercilessly laughed at and was rather unhappy ;)
LOL 3 are enough , we stopped at 3 because 3 is all we could afford.
We also waited to have kids for a couple of years until we were more finally secure.
Thank you for that compliment though.
They;’re all doing well in schools and out of school, the boys are excelling in sports and they all know their manners, yes sir no mam, thank you, please, hold the door etc.
You’re a yahoo. Babeu was a Republican in Massachusetts, served in the Army National Guard.
As sheriff, he reorganized the deparment, made it more efficient, and created policies that helped nab a lot more criminals, including illegals. He just won a national award as “Sheriff of the Year” from a group of sheriffs. I doubt that award is given for making right wing speeches.
You know nothing about this man’s accomplishments and just fill in with the spaces with your venomous nonsense. You’re free to disagree with his life choices, but do your homework before you make up some silly stories about wowing Arizonans with right wing rhetoric....we are more intelligent than that.
And the memory of all that good stained over defrauding his constituency over who and what he really is. Tarnished forever because he just had to ‘get his freak on’.
Do you support homosexuals in positions of power. Yes or no.
Do you believe that closeted/open homosexuals are a blackmail threat? Yes or no?
Or do you ‘reject’ those premises as well?
don’;t care what name you call me, you sound like, you’re another queer boyfriend of his or you’re actually so stubborn you cannot even see you were duped.
You said he has support on his FB.
He got awards.
SO
The man has been found lying, HELLO MCFLY, LYING, he has been found out to be a MA transplant who is queer who was knocking off an illegal, who was lying, who misused his position
wake the hell up
LOL You’re obviously not very smart either.
McCain, this guy, what is it with some of you out there, while there is great people you seem to be stuck up your own ass or should I say in your and his case up his ass.
YOU’VE BEEN DUPED
He’s a phony, a fraud, a homo with an agenda who misused his uniform and position, what’s the matter you gave him money, met him and thought boy what a nice guy I’m supporting him but you cannot get it into your head you have been taken .
Oh and wanting the queer agenda is not as republican stance let alone conservative.
He’s another phony from MA, another queer who has infested the GOP under false pretenses.
I now know how McCain gets elected if there are more like him or her out there.
Have a feeling that the poster is from the north east, knows a few homosexuals and thinks they’re OK and when I read that the poster still thinks of this fraud as a conservative then it shows me how McCain can keep getting elected.
Say the right thing, get on TV, move to another part of the country and then run as a republican and there are always dopes out there who fall for it even when the person has been found lying to them and we wonder why we’re in this mess
If you don't understand, let me help. Many of us have actual moral standards and are nauseated by the likes of Babeau, Kolbe and even the late Goldwater.
Please regard me as a yahoo too! In this context that would be a badge of honor. Babeau, Kolbe, the late abortion and perversion cheerleader Barry Goldwater and his clan, John McCain: none are much of a recommendation of the common sense of Arizona. Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday and Josephine Marcus would be sooooo ashamed!
Here’s the thought process in general:
I’m a ‘conservative’
I have a friend
My friend is a homosexual
Conservatives are against homosexuality
I have many conservative friends
I am against homosexuality
My friend isn’t a ‘flaming’ homo
None of my conservative friends know I have a gay friend
As long as he doesn’t shove it in my face and embarass me in front of my conservative friends, they’ll never know and I don’t have to admit it.
Well he’s out now and no one disowned me so aparently people will tolerate him if he isnt too ‘out’
It’s really none of my business who zooms who as long as I’m not personally involved
Personal freedom is the bullwark of conservative thought and belief.
Liberals are the ones who try dictating people’s lives, not conservatives.
My friend shares a number of my beliefs about financial/govenmental issues.
I never realized you can be homosexual and conservative
My friend is further right than some people on Free Republic - He’s hardcore on issue X!
I don’t know why the conservatives won’t accept people who believe the same things they do just because of his sex preferences
It’s completely unfair
I can’t believe how intolerant people are of my friend.
If that’s the way it’s going to be I’m done. I’m not a bigot and I don’t want to be associated with them.
I guess that the libs were right after all.
Someone here is in the final stages of his madness...and it ain’t you or me.
Also, in the interest of full disclosure:
I hit
“I dont know why the conservatives wont accept people who believe the same things they do just because of his sex preferences”
And at that point the light went on. I sat down and had a long and serious self-evaluation of what I really thought and believed in.
I asked myself if I should abandon everything I ever believed, everything I’d ever been taught about right and wrong, over one friend. It was an extremely painful decision since that friend held my head together at a very bad time in my life. He practically saved me from myself.
So how could I be so heartless?
He was not going to change ‘who he was’ (believed himself to be), ergo, why should I? I chose to stand for what I believed in as a human being based on my religious faith and my secular beliefs. I chose to “not live a lie”.
When I asked myself “Why is it OK in society for homosexuals to “not live a lie” but it would be perfectly fine for me to do so?” I had my answer.
i feel about open gayness the same that i do about tongue piercings
i told a friend of mine the one thing i cant stand about people whove gotten their tongue pierced is that they take every opportunity to wag their tongue around and show everybody their tongue is pierced
my friend who had just pierced his tongue said hey, i never wag my tongue at you
i told him, then how in the hell do you think i figured out you just got it pierced, dumbass?
they can’t help it
but my freedom of association isn’t suddenly void because someones taken up colonic spelunking...just work your side of the street dewd...lol
