Foster Friess, a major donor to the super PAC backing Rick Santorum, has apologized for a joke about contraception that prompted outrage from women's groups.
"Back in my days, they used Bayer aspirin for contraceptives," Friess said on MSNBC on Thursday, adding: "The gals put it between their knees, and it wasn't that costly."
The implication was that women held the aspirin between their legs, which left them unable to open them.

Indeed, it’s a blasphemy to them.
A majority of people were probably laughing. But the pockfaced twit Andrea wanted to act offended.
Shame her Mom didn’t use an aspirin between her legs.
I’m glad I was able to give you a laugh.
When we look at our country why shouldn’t we laugh? What a joke we have become.
Much like the Templars. They became a satire of themselves.

Santorum is running for President, not National Daddy.
Bill Mahar can say the most over the top comments about Christians and get a the State Owned Media laughs. For example, this recent twitter:

Yet folks want to make a big deal out of a joke that’s older than dirt.
I am starting to believe that God’s experiment with humans has failed and that He needs to bring back the dinosaurs.
As for the aspirin procedure, it’s really very easy to defeat. You simply tell the young lady, “You might as well, I am going to tell everyone you did anyway”.
My mom used to swear by the ‘rhythm method”. ....... there were 6 of us. LOL

OK, good. Now he has apologized ... Now the leftys who were hurt by this will vote for Santorum? No? Well why the apology?
I am a Santorum supporter and I found myself defending his position by simply saying that his position was a personal belief and that he had no intention of forcing his personal beliefs on the country.
Then, after reading some of the articles, attacking Santorum for discussing the fact that the wide distribution of contraceptives has led to wide spread promiscuity, I realized that I fully agree with Santorum and that while I do not think that using contraceptives is wrong in any way, I do think that the wide spread use among young teenagers has led to promiscuity and cultural rot.
My example concerns Planned Parenthood. A young woman that we know tells the story of how Planned Parenthood came into her school when she was in the tenth grade. They spoke to the boys and the girls in separate groups. What they told the boys was that if they wanted to have sex with girlfriends, they should bring the girls to PP first, for birth control pills and it would take away the biggest objection that the girls had to engaging in intercourse.
The girl was not sexually active at the time, but she agreed to go to PP for the birth control pills. The boy was ecstatic and showed his appreciation by infecting the girl with Chlamydia.
Friess shouldn’t have apologized. His comment was an accurate telling of an old 60s-era joke that related to the virtues of the day.
The ONLY people with their knickers in a twist are liberals. Republicans and conservatives nodded their heads and said to themselves “Yep, I remember that!”
But did "it" cure her acne?
