This is a 2 hour video of Newt’s Republican Revolution done by Investigative Reports. When one has time, s/he may wish to view it in its entirety. But for those who lived through it, one need only view the first few minutes in order to relive the euphoria we all experienced that election night and what it meant for a constitutional America.
That many may not wish to vote for Newt today is understandable. Equally understandable is that the MSM,GOP-E and the Dems will always hate him with a passion. However, imo, the venom and vitriol directed at the architect of the greatest historical victory for conservatism from Republicans, and many conservatives--- is unseemly.

I agree with you. Without you, the likes of Bob Dole and Dennis Hastert would never have taken the Congress. Newt even got us the Senate. His strategy for nationalizing the election was brilliant. The same thing needs to be done this year, so that we take the White House and are able to do something with it. I think Newt could do it, I am less confident that Santorum has the tactical strength and leadership to energize the country. I like them both, don’t get me wrong, but I think Newt is better equipped to take on the bastards. He knows how to fight them.
I remember when Newt took the Congress from the Democrats, there were rooms that the Republicans didn’t even know existed in the Congress.

Ultimately though, soft hearted as I am, the anguish on CNN’s Judy Woldruff’s (sp) face was too much— and so I switched off CNN. -:)

Not only that, but there were reporters who didn’t even KNOW any Republicans. They would go to their favorite dem and ask their normal questions. They were told the they didn’t know, they needed to ask the guys in charge.
They were scrambling...
I just watched the whole video. I remember all of this very well and how Michigan Democrat David Bonior kept filing bogus ethics charges against Newt. One thing this video tells us is that the Democrats were the same pompous self serving anti-American power hungry liars they are today. Look what they have done to America since then! Where would we be right now if Newt and the freshman class had not done what they did to reverse a lot of damage then? Newt was a fighter then and he is still a fighter. He knows the enemy well. They all are shaking in their boots to think he would become President and uncover all their secrets and undo so much of their damage.

Agreed. I cast my Arizona absentee ballot for Newt. Not that it's likely to amount to a hill of beans in my state in the primary. *sigh*
However, MSM narrative about conservative voters being apathetic about voting in 2012, I will crawl through a mile of broken glass to cast my vote for ABO in the general, presuming candidate ABO incontrovertibly presents their A2S1C5 bona fides.
