The New “Law and Order”
Well, in retrospect, the GOP circular firing squad doesn’t look all that bad by comparison.

DEVELOPING: An agent with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, shot two colleagues Thursday evening, killing one, at a federal in Southern California, local news outlets report.
Multiple media outlets report that the gunman also is dead, though it wasn’t immediately clear who fired the fatal shot and the agents’ conditions couldn’t immediately be confirmed.
Police officers reportedly responded to the federal building in downtown Long Beach around 5:50 p.m. local time, after a report of shots fired on the seventh floor.
Dirty ICE agent?
Got caught and wasn’t willing to be arrested?
I heard about an hour ago (7:15 PST) on the radio that the gunman was in custody. Not dead.
UPDATE (all that follows is quoted from the original link):
Information from law enforcement continued to change Thursday night in the situation surrounding a shootout at the Long Beach Federal Building earlier in the day.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement released a statement late Thursday claiming two of their agents were involved in a shootout at the Long Beach Federal Building shortly before 6 p.m.
It was unclear who shot whom, or what the relationship was between the victims.
A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer was pronounced dead at the scene and a second was sent to a nearby hospital, according to the statement.
Earlier aerial communications from Long Beach Police described three agents involved in the shooting, and reported that two of them were pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim, repeatedly referred to as a man, was reportedly shot in the upper body.
He is being treated at St. Mary’s Medical Center, and his vital signs were positive, said Francine Marlenee, speaking on behalf of the hospital.
The incident occurred in the seventh-floor ICE offices located at 501 W. Ocean Blvd., police said.
A flurry of information, at times conflicting, came through police, fire and news media outlets.
Initial reports described a shootout involving two people, including a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer.
More than a dozen police vehicles and at least two fire trucks lined the sidewalks surrounding the heavily-secured building.
The shooting is being investigated by ICE’s Office of Professional Responsibility, the Long Beach Police Department and the FBI, according to ICE’s statement.
Sounds like someone took a look and couldn't believe it was a man. Hmmm....the feminization of America.
